Couldn't even find instructions with my delivery... I looked 3 times so decided to check you RUclips. Thanks! I would have worked it out but not the adjustment height setting haha. My older bosch has a lever but I guess this new one is a bit more on the budget side
@@BobTheToolMan did you have problems placing the two screws at the bottom of the handle? I can't seem to get it all the way in. it seems the screws are too big. only way I can fully tighten the screws is if I used an electric drill and forced the screws in.
Lightweight is good and what did I use it for it’s a lawnmower ruclips.net/user/postUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend Yes it is lightweight so hence not as robust as our old one. But if you take care it does the job really well.

Bob, assembled mine today. Straightforward enough exept that I can't fully tighten the 2 small screws which fix the handle to the mower. Have tried a couple of times but to no avail. Looked easy enough on your vid! Any idea what the problem could be?
@@BobTheToolMan I'm using a Pozi. Is that the right one? I never knew there was a physical difference between the two, just thought it was only the names were different.
@@BobTheToolMan Just had another go, this time with a flat screw driver as they look like Phillips screws. No way can I tighten them further even though the flat screwdriver is a nice fit in the screws. Screws go in easy enough to begin with then come to a stop as if they'd bottomed-out with a couple of mill of thread still showing. Result is the handle is a bit wobbly, which ain't good as you can imagine. I have heard of someone else having the same problem. I'm reasonably handy with my hands and just can't work out where I've gone wrong here......
The height adjustment mechanism is SO difficult to manipulate. I was looking for a lever. Maybe there isn't one. Couldn't see one in this clip. Can anyone help?
What do you mean how long is the cable? There is no cable with this lawn mover, you need extension cord that you need to plug in directly in the lawn mover.
Great video, I got this far without it, but watched to find out what the half dozen parts I had in my box, that seem to have no place to go, don't show up in the illustrations on the box, or in your video. Plus a vital screw missing from sealed packet.

About 10mins to put together, screw holes are self tapping, so you are cutting the thread as you tighten, hence a little effort is required but will result in a better lock on the screws and less chance of vibration shaking them loose.
My Bosch CityMower 18 arrived with everything EXCEPT the manual, but this video saved me a lot of time as the assembly is identical!
Mine too - very annoying!
Mine too! Lots of booklets but no instructions. How odd!
Didn’t bother with the destructions, I just assembled it along with this video. Perfect, thanks.
Instructions
in my box there were no instructions. Go figure!
Thank you so much !
The instructions were absolutely incomprehensible
Great to hear!
Thank you so much for this video! Was a big help! I'm more a visual person when putting things together and couldn't understand the manual 😅🙈
Thank you for making this! I just assembled mine following your video and the manual
Glad it helped!
Great video! Instructions were useless but this really helped 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! Glad to hear that I helped.
Thank you, thank you 🌷 saved me so much time 🤗

What’s the black clip thingy for?
A very important SAFTY omission, make sure to disconnect the electric mains plug before turning over the mover to adjust the height. Or else …….
Thanks so much for your help 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Happy to help.
Merci pour le conseil des roues à bouger pour la hauteur de l’herbe car j’avais oublié comment faire 🙏

So nice and quiet too! They actually sound nice!
Quiet how
Thanks a lot for this precious video! In 15 minutes I'm ready to work in my garden. I assemble everything.
Wonderful!
Thank you for the video. Helped me a lot in assembly.

What kind of screwdriver are you using Flat, PH, PZ?

I've just ordered some m5 and 6 stainless steel washers which should do the trick...hopefully!
The screws are really made of strong material. They broke my philllips so I used a flat head instead and that did the trick.
Looks a good model, thanks for the video, very useful. Any idea how often the blade needs replacing ?
Depends on the usage but usually 3-4 years.
You can easaly sharpen them with a grinder in 2 minutes

Do it pulling one wheel at the time
NEVER PUT YOUR HANS UDERNETH ALWAYS UN PLUG 🔌 FIRST
had to come look how to start it lmao, tried handle then button then handle lmao
Nice video man but i do have a question, am i the only one that got 1 extra blade?
do you know how the lower handle folds please bob?
Is one of front wheels ment to be loose
Thank you!!! I could not figure out how to lift the height!!

Oh Bob actually answers but if you are in Australia the cord on my mower is about 10 meters but I have not measured it yet .
I followed these steps but my new mashine is not working.

same, I was wondering where those extra parts go, but seems like they weren't needed!
Thanks. Especially for showing how to change the height of the wheels
The official bosch video wasn't very good on that
Glad I could help.

How cm tall grass does this cut?
From 20 to 60mm
No
My black screws don't like up or fit of course only things like this happen to me sick of this grass is going to shit now
They’ve put the wrong size bolts in. There’s no way on earth they are going through the holes. Any ideas anyone what size is needed?

Spends quite a lot of time stroking the box.
Just got one of them lawnmower there aload of bollox.. holes are not big enough for screws.. better of cutting grass with butter 🔪
Which holes?
About 10mins to put together, screw holes are self tapping, so you are cutting the thread as you tighten, hence a little effort is required but will result in a better lock on the screws and less chance of vibration shaking them loose.
Thanke pal, you saved me 15 wasted minutes from my life!

thanks. got one of these, don't buy one. have to empty grass bucket (too small) every 5 min.
This lawnmower is quite good, perhaps this model is too small for your lown? Probably you need a bigger model.
