Congratulations on choosing black as the table theme color. That's why we couldn't see anything in the black parts. Even a newbie wouldn't do this :)

I have this board it's available with ddr4 or ddr5. There's two versions to choose from. I believe they just released. New one for 14th Gen with wifi7

I just got this board after returning my z790e strix. When I got the z790e I was under the impression that I could use gen5 nvme and a gen 5 GPU at the same time but no u can't, if I did put a gen 5 drive in z790e the gen 5 pcie would drop x8 gen 5 which will be literally x16 gen 4 speeds. So I looked at the strix z790a strix found the only differences are 3 less gen 3.2 10gb usb a ports on the z790a, no Qcode screen for debugging and no start button on the board and the audio ports are not gold plated as the z790e/f are. But gold plated audio jacks are only good for corrosion from salts and damp otherwise they make no difference. I saved over £130 and lost 3 usb A ports, a Qcode screen a start button and gold plated audio ports. The vrms on the z790e/f are rated at 90amps where's this is rated at 70amps, but the joke here is even at 70amps u can do some serious OC on a 13900k, If I could have used both nvme and pcie with gen 5 speeds then the z790e would be worth the additional £130. The F is very similar to the A just black and has extra 4 usb 2.0 ports and good plated audio jacks and a start button not worth £70 additional pounds. This generation Asus has made literally all the strix boards very close to each other, with very little change. With the z790f/a u can populate all gen 4 drivers and not lose any performance on GPU..

I have this motherboard. Its on its 5th bios! Looks like they finally got it right! They were having major issues with performance drops depending on the CPU you were using

Not a fan of the printing on the heatsinks or colour of io plate, personally would prefer plain brushed aluminium heatsinks and black io plate.

I purchased this one recently did not install it yet, but I was shocked at how HEAVY it is, with nothing on it, it is bulky, so much heatsinks all over the place, what ever happened to the traditional and simple builds. It is so heavy and very hard to handle, there are pins all over the underside, and it looks so fragile, if you hold it, barely pressing the bottom and the pins move, looks like ASUS has significantly dropped in quality over the years, but the prices have gone up though - the board feels extremely fragile - I am nervous because I heard that asus boards now have a veyr high failure rate - a local store here has had as much as 40% returns from these boards. It is so goddamned heavy, coupled with an H7 Flow, Noctua D15S and PSU, GPU, etc, case can weigh as much as 60 pounds it's CRAZY - it's now to a point where modern computer cases weigh as much as a large bag of concrete!!!
