I have an exam in two and a half hours on global Chinese export ceramics today and this video is really excellent! You are really knowledgeable and I really like how you organize the information into different years. It would be cool to see other presentations too around related topics like forms or patterns as shorter videos. Thank you so much for this - I feel much more prepared!
A wonderful presentation, lacking only a bit of attention to the popular Nanking or Inclined Pines blue and white found at Mount Vernon, the pattern given to Mrs. Samuel Powell by President and Mrs. Washington in 1797. Dates usually given for its manufacture are 1790-1810. It's my favorite pattern and I've managed to collect some unusual forms. As a world traveler, you must have had similar opportunities.
Now. You just doing collection and Iwanted you come to Thailand at Chiangmai at my home and see collection I haved SUN GOD HEAD BEAD and antique pleased welcome tel.my contact 0869218696 Thank.
Hello, the Hong Bowl with flags 1785 - 1790, courtesy of Antoine Lebel, has an error in the description, the flag is not French, corresponds to Spain. The commercial representation in Canton of the USA was installed next to the Spanish one that gave him the land after his American independence
Thank you for your kind comments. You might be interested in looking at China to Order, my book which we recently placed on the Internet. Send me an e-mail and I'll send you the link.
well thank you for putting this information online, but who can dispute if some of them are fake? it's easy to show a picture and talk about it, but different when you handle it and look at it close. the best thing to do to learn is to go to museums and auction houses where you can see and sometimes handle the thing in your hand
So happy to have found your presentation, I have been searching for information in this area. Do you happen to have any more videos on Chinese ceramics? Thank you!
Great presentation Mr. Nadler, have just shared a link to your video on www.gotheborg.com I'm sure other members will find this video very interesting.
