Hi Peter, You Rock. I have learned so much. Thank you. You have in a short time impacted my life and sharpened my eyes so much. I found a white porcelain butterfly design lamp that I would has passed right by otherwise. Thanks! Thanks to your tutorials. Cent' Anni!

    14:00 封神榜 大战泗水关
This scene depicts "the battle at the Sishui Pass," an episode from the epic novel Investiture of the Gods. The story of this novel is based on events that occurred in China as the Shang dynasty (c. 1600-c. 1100 B.C.) ended and the Zhou dynasty (c. 1100-256 B.C.) began. The diagonal composition, with warriors chasing one another, results in an image filled with dynamic movement.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art was closed (for renovation I think) when I was there in July 2005 so thanks for this Peter - a fascinating watch for all of us stuck at home. If you are considering doing any more I would like to nominate the Percival David collection here in London. I work nearby so am able to visit often, but it is a breathtaking collection of Imperial Chinese pieces.

Absolutely...! It is on the list, the issue currently is their site and images are not available. When they fix it and we can again access images, we'll be doing one. Best Peter
