I love how the wall by the dining table divides the space into two areas! Etienne’s English is excellent! And finally, you gave scant mention of it in the kitchen, but there was the ubiquitous rice cooker, not often found in western homes….. 😜
We also really like the wall, especially when I (Etienne) work and Thanh is doing something else behind the wall. It helps not to annoy each other in this 1-room apartment :D Thanks, by the way :) And yeah, a rice cooker is a must when you're married to a Vietnamese :D

Thank you for showing us your living space. Looks like a well-organized cute space for a young couple in love. Seeing pets, especially the fish tank brings some good memories as I love Betta fish and many other tropical fish. Hermit crabs brings back my fond childhood memories. At one point, they were all replaced by my passion for plants. I want to set up a fish tank again. Thanks for another cute video and the inspirations!
Glad you liked the video! Yeah, our pets are actually quite important to us. Sadly, we can't take them with us (too risky for them), but we will probably at least get a new gecko in Germany I think.

Especially, when u have to move. Anyway, I will be visiting ur home country next year. I haven’t been to Denmark . So far I heard Copenhagen is a destination to visit. Any recommendations places to visit ?
@@tonyle2475 Apartments in Vietnam are often tiny. With two people, we're living on much more space than most people here :D We're going to move to Germany soon, but it's not clear where to yet. Do you mean you're coming to Denmark? None of us from there, though, and I haven't been to Copenhagen myself, unfortunately.

@@tonyle2475 Yeah, in the long term, we should probably have a 2-bedroom apartment, especially since I work from home. Our apartment right now costs around $450 per month, and is relatively expensive for Hanoi. However, it is quite modern and a bit safer than many other options.

It depends. Our apartment is around $450 per month. Not expensive for a European income, but quite expensive for a Vietnamese one.
