I don't think I will ever get over the fact Tobias, Corey and Kalei watched my performance and thought it was good. Thank you and it was awesome to be featured along with all the amazing contest winners ❤
Freebird! I love it. A lot of folks automatically write this off as “Oh, no, not Freebird,” . . . forgetting that it is just a fun tune to play. A job VERY WELL DONE!
The fact that every uke in this show sounds good in Corey and Kaldi’s hands has motivated me to lear to play better with the uke I have. I’ve been considering buying a new one that sounds better, but i have a lot to learn about playing the one I have well. Thanks for the inspiration.
Really enjoyed listening and seeing the competition. Congrats to all the finalists you should be all proud and thanks for sharing your talent. You truly are amazing. Thanks guys for showcasing the wide techniques out there. Great way to pick a winner. Great Maple from Kanile’a , got to say that Ono is genius construction, just love to see engineering genius.
I'll never give up my Koaloha long neck soprano, it just seems like the sweet spot between tone and playability. However, there really is something to be said for the traditional soprano sound. Guess I got to get one of those too. It's weird how scale length seems to have as much impact on bass response as body size.

Additional to that, I would absolutely love to jam with you guys!
Why don't you select the ten finalists, and then do the final award at random from the 10 finalists?
