Something I'd really like to see is Corey and Kalei bring in their personal ukuleles (or guitar for Corey) and play some of their favorite songs.

Corey and Kalei, you guys just rock it. Thank you, listening to you two is such a blessing . . . Keep it coming!

Love this format! The boys working out songs and calling out chords is so helpful. I'm chillin on my couch with my baritone uke, trying to follow along, soaking up every bit of info. I'll never be able to play on Corey's or Kalei's level, but I feel like I actually got to sit in on a pro jam session. I think I am actually a better player after this. Thanks HMS / TUS!

Mahalo for the talks about scales! I've been wrestling teaching them to myself for about two months now and this was a great help.

It looks like Kalei is tickling his uke during “Dragon”. I love watching Kalei and Corey’s hands move. I’m sure these videos help people learn because of the great examples. When I was a kid, my swim team coach was on the swimming Olympic committee. She would show us Mark Spitz training film from below water to show us what an elite swimmer did with his hands. That turned me into a better swimmer. This channel is just like that to me. Thank you very very much.

Really enjoying the commentary .. never heard anyone talk of the truss rod’s role in the tone of an instrument, but makes sense. And holding Uke away from body is something I tell players but most players are hobby-ists , not ‘musicians”so falls on deaf ears. Thanks for vids !

Love my Pono AT. Thank you for recommending it to me way back in 2012. It still plays and sounds just as good as it did 10 years ago.

Thanks again, great song choice this week and show casing some great affordable ukes. Thought to myself,…..that’s how “Ain’t no Sunshine”should be played, damn. Andrew you are correct, there are probably loads of Uke enthusiasts that don’t own or have never played a baritone. What a great prize, can’t wait to see the competitors there are clearly great players covering such a wide genre of music. Might even practice a little more, but for my level I think the prize might be a chocolate bar😂😂. If music is the food of love then let the world have a feast. Have a great week one and all.

Brah.. "What's Going On" has to be one of my favorite jams with them. Love the chat of scale shapes. I look at it not as a 4-5.. More like a 1-1, if that makes sense

Do you know how to play Jake’s Dragon? ‘I don’t know…maybe…” They then proceed to slay it. I love you guys 🔥🔥🔥

I have one of the “litter mates” of the Pono Baritone that will be the give-away for the next instrumental contest (RBSH-C-PC: Rosewood Baritone Slot Head Cedar Pro Classic), purchased from HMS/TUS in December 2021, and it is a wonderful instrument. As you can hear, it has a “mesmerizing” sound to it, even when just noodling around. Whoever wins it will get an awesome baritone!

Would you all share how you'd install the ToneWood Amp on the ukulele? The magnets have to go inside the soundhole and for the life of me I can't find a safe way to do it.

It's a unit Leolani installs on their electric models made by Double. It adds volume and controlable effects.
