I grew up playing the SNES version by the way. While im totally enjoying the animated 80s anime-like cutscenes and maverick bosses intro videos, the OST is very different and sounds more "advanced" with different styles of music versus the compressed SNES 16-bit rock/metal sounding renditions of the music I grew fond of.

Even a lightsaber from Star Wars couldn't cut straight through shit like that lol XD. Remember when Qui Gon Jinn was trying to cut through the door blast doors to the Trade Fed. ship in the beginning of the Phantom Menace - They wished they had Zero's saber lol. Kinda reminds me of the energy blades from Halo - they are one of the most powerful things in the entire game. lol XD

xD you'd think he would stop LOSING his best armor from the previous games and just keep all of the upgrades and powers. Dude must have Global Transient Amnesia or something. (it's a brain thing where some people every few years just forget a ton about their past, like the fact they just divorced their wife and she took the kids kind of amnesia lol.

I love this intro with Japanese opening theme.
However, the Japanese song was removed when it was released for the PlayStation version in America for unknown reason.
From what I know... this port wasn't even released in America. The english port of the game was released only in Pal (Europe)

@@LordCloudStrife xD i love your videos man I played Megaman X as my first video game ever in like 1992, I was like 5 years old. I was so hooked I would pee my pants in my chair instead of getting up to go 20 feet to teh bathroom LOL xD. X4 narrowly beats out X as my favorite game in the entire megaman - with a special honorable mention to Megaman Legends and Legends 2 and a few of the Zero series for the handhelds.
legends tho they just had such a cool world with the airships and stuff it was rly original as hell. I think X7 and X8 are tied for worst in the entire franchise tho imo. Sucks to be Axel lol. Poor fella, he just wasn't that cool with his little pistol lol. They should have made Vile turn sides in X6 and make him a playable character, I bet that's where the idea for Axel came from - someone on the dev team def wanted to make a good guy version of Vile that could fire in 360 degree directions.

At first i didnt like Mega Man X that much since its very difficult miraculously i made it through 1 and 2 but when i saw these animations i felt that sensation to be a once again Mega Man and X Fan
hehe X through X5 wasn't too difficult with a bit of repetition, 6 is where they fucked the series up imo by making it suddenly insanely difficult.

I don't mind mega man x difficulty, so long as it's fun but I see the characters (bosses) here and I see basically all of them do the same thing of dashing from side to side like they're bumper cars...
I mean spark mandrake would at least gain immunity to getting frozen for a short time and armored armadillo would fight even if the armor was shocked off so they could fight back but every boss here is like a dehydrated gamer who doesn't look up...

To get the Full Body Upgrade @1:24ish you must have all four upgrades in place, all four energy tanks, all eight heart tanks,, beat all three side bosses, have all four mobile armors(N)(K)(H)(F)and HAVE a full energy bar,, you don’t have to have full energy tanks but it wouldn’t hurt in case you take a hit on the way there

That saber is OP.
I view it like the Enegy blades and the other melee weapons and hell even the regular melee hit with the butt of the gun that many FPS have - Halo series for example - they are insanely powerful. You can fire rockets into some of the enemies faces and do less damage than a body shot with a melee attack in most video games it seems - unless of course the game is primarily a melee video game combat video game.

Nonsense. I played both versions back to back. Only differences are how sound and music work in both games, the cut scenes in the PSX/Saturn versions and whether you have save or password options. Gameplay is exactly the same.

1. 40:40 best music in the game imo >:) - nothing in the entire megaman universe though matches the original Megaman X soundtrack tho imo. There's not a bad song on the OST.
2. 1:29:31 is so adorable the way that ride armor tries SOOO hard to get some more height on it's jumps underwater :D
3. Zero is hot as fuck. I wanna see him with his hair out of the helmet omg he'd look sexy as fuck like Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom ( RIP )
4. Why doesn't Sigma just cover his head in the same armor as the rest of his body lol - what a dumbass :D. He's already been killed twice in the X series in the games, has killed millions of humans and reploidds at this point i'm sure and he hasn't and never figures out how to put that impentrable armor on at the very least himself - not to mention - idk how technology would advance in any sentient civilization and be able to overlook something like that - of course it just classic villain hubris perhaps because he has so many bodies and his virus is all over the planet at this point he reminds me a lot of Agent Smith from The Matrix. If you beat them without the special weapon they survive the encounter and come back in a different form for a later boss. I forget which they replace, though

Is longplay accurate? Because you're doing Buster only. Not Boss weakness, which would require replaying previous stages. So not a true longplay, is it?

Think about it like the average enemy the in Halo series games can take at least a few rounds if they aren't headshots dozens if not hundreds of rounds depending on the difficulty of course. But the Master Chief gets an energy blade or just the butt of his rifle up close and it's lights out for 80% of the baddies in teh game. XDDD

You need to beat Bit/Byte using a boss weapon before defeating all 8 robot masters. If you use xbuster, they just run away and come back at first dopple stage.
Just realize something.... How did you get zero's saber? Are there any requirement?
mrsnekochandesu yes, you need to destroy Bit/Bite and Vile during the 8 boss stages, after when you reach Doppler Stage 2 you have to kill the sub-boss (the drone flying around) using Zero like i do on 1:30:26

Carlos Reano You need all 8 Heart Tank, all 4 sub-tanks, all 4 armor upgrades, all 4 robot types, killed all 8 master robots and need to get to this point with max health.
I was about to give you a hate post until I found this post,, I thought I had mastered this game until I saw this video and seen you get the full body upgrade,, I kept trying to get it but it would never seem to be there UNTIL I did just what you said and went down there with full energy,, congrats on finding this upgrade

Lo intente descargarlo para PC pero no pude está es mí historia en porque no pude: ayer cuando estaba hablando con mí papa por el Facebook le dije que extrañaba mí snes9x de mí computadora pero ya que tenía ahora ancias de descargarlo me descarge la última versión de la snes intenté descargar el megaman x3 pero no pude intenté de todo, descargue descargue y descargue y nada y ya no tuve esperanzas, y es por eso que ya no pude reconocer mí vieja e inconfiable snes9x y mis megaman x y el megaman 7 :,(

+Jefferson Miguel Cuz Dr. Willey created Zero to be the heart of the Maverick Virus. If you think of the series as a TV show, X4 is just a filler, but X5 is the big climax. X6 is the ending to the series, and x7 and x8 are just fillers.
