Excellent. The best video on RUclips on that subject! ❤

For everyone searching, this is the most succinct, clearest, and best explanation available for creating library features in SOLIDWORKS.

Excellent Tutorial! Well done. A feature re-used like this can be an invaluable time saver over and over again. I'm 30 years into my career as a sign engineering, and I am convinced Solidworks is the next level tool for me. I'm only 6 month into using SW, but picking up speed quickly using videos like yours. Thanks again. *I cannot afford $2k/day classes from re-sellers. I was searching for how to make hardware from McMaster Carr, into a smart fastener? Not sure if that can be done? Do you know? That would save time! I am not that impressed with the selection that comes with SW toolbox.

I cannot figure out how to rotate a library feature, such as a feature designed at a 45deg angle matches up to a horizontal edge. any ideas?

You need a locating dimension to define the angle that the feature is cut at, so you'll likely need to edit relations to eliminate horizontal or vertical relations, and make sure your sketch rotates as a unit because of that one dimension.
