Instead of positioning it off the side, could we leave those blank and constrain the feature to the part. Like if I have a point in the middle of the box, could I constrain the bushing to that point rather than typing in dimensions?
You are correct that it is possible to get the same result from a macro as it is a library feature. Typically a library feature is going to be easier to use and setup than a macro, where a macro will give you more control, but may also be more difficult to use.
