Nebuchadnezzar was quite upset
He had a disturbing dream
The royal King didn't understand it
He called on his counseling team
They asked him to tell the dream
They would explain to him what it means
The king said no, I want an explanation
After you tell me the dream
The advisors were confused and said to the king
No one can do what you ask
The king was furious and said to them
Then death to you all is the task
The commander of the king's guard went out
To get started as the king was stewing
But Daniel stayed calm and respectfully asked
The why of what they were doing
The commander told him and Daniel asked
If he could speak to the king
Daniel, trusting God, told Nebuchadnezzar
That he could explain the thing
Daniel went home to his loyal friends
They prayed for an answer
Sure enough, their God in heaven
Showed up and swiftly delivered
