How can you not love Greg. He’s clearly very grateful for where he is in life, he loves making people laugh and knows what affect he’s having on people.
I do love how he still is well known as "that comedian that used to be a teacher". Greg has brilliantly incorporated that side of him into his brand of comedy.
I can't speak for acting, but for stand-up, there are lots of "turn up and go on" open mic nights. It really is as simple as showing up and saying words. The trick is keeping doing it and getting better
Love your “Reportage” and analysis. Just one objection when watching movies with all stars and egos as a viewer you have great expectations and it turns out to be a dud. Why is that ? Did all the energy go into entertaining each other ?
Judge Judy seemed less of an AUTHORITARIAN, than Grieg, as THE TASKMASTER. little A.H., should call him taskmaster Sir, and not Grieg. Funniest thing, Possibly EVER

I think you were watching a different interview from the rest of us. I learned so much more about his process and thinking and attitude from this clip. His other TV interviews are great, but are more story-based. This one got inside his mind more. You saw the serious and professional actor and comedian side. Great insights into a real British comedy star.
