The lore: On the way back to deliver the soul contracts, King dice was not there to greet them as usual. The door to the devil was unlocked and cuphead and mugman went in. The devil, who felt cheated by the fact that the cup bros reset time to get the contracts, and couldn’t deliver the contract of a blue haired rapper, decided to fight harder than ever before shown in the games. During one of the fights however, Mugman dies and his soul gets handed to the devil, however the next reset, Mugman is still dead and Cuphead realizes he might not be able to mess up those time. The devil, using this time to mock Cuphead, decides to Mock him with the contract he and mugman signed showing that should break the contract, their souls were his. Cuphead feeling lost by this but furious at the same time begins to see nothing but flames. Suddenly lasers shot from the sky come crashing down next to Cuphead, Cuphead is scared of them for a little bit, but he soon gives in to his rage against the one that forced him into this quest, the one that broke his end of the bargain, the one that killed his brother. He begins to shift and soon nightmare cuphead shall be born. King Dice noticing the sudden change in Cuphead’s now incredibly aggressive nature suggests that they should stop, but the Devil refuses to and remarks that Cuphead couldn’t do anything that amazing and that it would be over soon. And he was right, but that winner wouldn’t be him, as cuphead launched a big blast at him, and knocks him out. King dice trying to flee heads for the exit, but gets caught by an ex bladesaw. Nightmare cuphead reigns, but with the Devil knocked out, his brother is still trapped, he lays in wait for a certain blue haired rapper just in case, as he’s the one who started this mess.
(Day 11) this takes place after the events of the Cuphead week Cup head: mug man are you OK (Mug man’s soul comes out of his body) Cup head: wait mug man where are you going (Then he runs after it) Cup head : it went in there in the devils casino Cuphead: I gotta do this with stealth (Trips over a vase Cuphead: OH NO (The vase breaks into pieces) Devil:huh Devil: I think someone is in here after all A certain Cuphead hey king dice get over here King dice: yea what is it Devil: Cuphead is in here I suppose he came back for his brother Cuphead: that’s right I came back for mug man Devil: then sign this contract if you want your brother back Cuphead: The answer is no I’m not doing it Devil: you asked for it (I’ve done my part now it’s your turn chaos)

N. Cuphead: YOU'RE IN FOR IT NOW YOU FREAKS! I'M DONE PLAYING NICE! MY BROTHER IS COMING BACK WITH ME, EVEN IF I HAVE TO TAKE YOUR LIVES!!! King Dice: God damn! What in tarnation happened to this brat!? Hey!! [He dodged and weaved the Nightmare Bullets and EX Blasts.] Devil: [He growled and deflected the blasts coming forward] YOU FOOL! You think because you're hellish now means you have such chances to kill us!? N. Cuphead: RAAAAAGH!!! [He rapidly aimed both fingers and shot auto fire at them.] I WANT MY BROTHER BACK NOW!!! [The Devil and King Dice skid backward from the plethora of bullets.] Devil: Grrr, you want your contract!? Fine! HERE'S YOUR CONTRACT! King Dice: [He used Mugman's soul contract as a shield with a mischievous smirk. One of the bullets barely missed it.] N. Cuphead: !? [He stopped his shooting] You dirty little...!! Devil: [He smirked] Hahahaha! Not so confident now, huh boy? You wanted it? You got it. One wrong move and the contract is GONE. King Dice: That's right! Whatcha gonna do about it, chum? [His hands were positioned to tear the contract up.] N. Cuphead: [He growled angrily, not sure what to do, his flames bursting and his hands glowing] M-Mugsy...!!! Seems like the tables have turned for the nightmarish cup. The Devil and King Dice has Mugman's life on their hands and Nightmare Cuphead can't shoot efficiently with the contract in the way. This really is a pickle for our running and gunning cup.
