    Thanks a lot for this video. I used to use water on other air drying clay, but since Mouldit comes with instructions to use powder, i used that but never got the finish i was after. Thanks again. Also the painting tip is awesome. I've experimented mixing in colour with the clay while soft. The colour stays true. But your method saves paint.

      @@xyzabc-nu3vd of all I've used....mould it is the best.... The consistency is awesome. Very durable and finishing is also good. No cracks.....the idea to get a perfect finish is to rub it with powder when it's about 10-15 mins dry till you get a shiny surface.... Others I've used which i don't recommend are Mont Marte ( cracks), Scultp dry by Mungyo...is nice but dries too fast. Can't remember any others now.....I've been using fevicryl for over 4-5 years noe

    I gues i didn't look up any video tutorial before I started with Mouldit. The problems that I faced were as below:
    1. I mixed the epoxy and hardner very badly ( I took out full packet and mixed together). Since it was a lot, I guess the two colours gave a marbling effect which means they hadn't mixed together well..as I gather from your video.
    2. I made sculptures and I use bowls to dry them when I work with air dry clay. I did the same and spoilt a ceramic bowl from my kitchen.
    3. I definitely had wet the dough a lot so it hardened as per this video.
    4. I hadn't washes my hands at every step so the remnants were on my hands even after wash. Also I use a marble piece for all my clay projects and it got spoilt quite a bit, alongwith my knife, etc.
    Good learning from this video though. Thanks.

    So today was the first time that I used mould it, and most of it was spoilt. I mixed the entire packet of 50g as I thought that 1) it will take longer to harden 2) was not sure that if I can store the opened packet in some box, and it will not solidify ( pls let me know how u store the product after opening the seal). So, was able to use only 10% and the rest 90% got hot, probably due to some chemical reaction, and became a stone. I used a steel plate, on the reverse side to role out the clay, and found that it was sticking ( next time I will use polyethene as u suggest )and I donno how do those youtubers do it, every time I was picking those earthworms ( it was my first attempt at making a lippan art), it would break. I didn't use any water, but I did wash my hand after mixing the clay Any tip would be welcome.

    • @smmcreations
      @smmcreations  Год назад +1

      Well all these things have happened with us all during the first time.
      Its very common for this to happen for the first day, just keep practicing daily and try mixing small or required amounts of clay only.
      You can store the opened resin and hardner packets in a box or even in a open area, there's no issue with that. Please do check out my Various tutorials on this clay, I have tried to explain various doubts.

    Thank you so much for this one Shreyas...
    But I am facing a different problem...
    The white part.... Not the hardener.... The white part stinks.. As that was hard...can yoh please help me with a suggestion.... It's difficult for me to work.. It stinks badly on my plan while kneading... Please suggest something

      If the white part is hard then the clay is expired. You'll need to buy a new one.
      There's another video dedicated to that on my channel as well. Do check out

    Hii
    My clay Dries Out and It is like a Brick now so what to do I want it to be become normal clay

    • @smmcreations
      @smmcreations  3 года назад +1

      If its after mixing the resin and hardener then it cannot come back to normal. If it's before mixing then that might be a problem with the material

    Kindly tell what varnish should I apply on coloured fevicryl clay mouldit pieces , earlier I was applying Asian paints clear synthetic varnish to make it fade proof but ever after months the products are sticky because of the varnish. Which varnish should I use then so that after 2-3days it wouldn't be stocky but glossy.

    Wonderful tutorial!
    Thank you. I already subscribed. I just want to ask you that, if i.want to do an art work on the ply wood pieces or canvass board how to stick it ?

    • @smmcreations
      @smmcreations  3 года назад +1

      This clay is very sticky once its kneaded,
      So you can directly stick on the wood and work on it. Or the other efficient method is make your art separately and then stick it on the wood or canvas board using an instant adhesive like astral vetra, etc

    Should we use any glue to stick this clay on coffee mugs or we can directly do decor without using any glue to stick on mug

    • @smmcreations
      @smmcreations  2 года назад

      Do use a glue as that will stick it permanently.
      You can check out my recent tutorial where I have explained this as well.
