I beg to differ. In 2023 there are Bank Charges to maintain a current account. Also, Estate Agents charge both the buyer and seller of a property plus there is also tax to be paid on it.
No, its not easy to make a bank account. Its the opposite. I have experience myself. And i am sorry to say that YOU DO have to pay for transactions to other banks in EU. I have experienced that too.
You might be eligible for a resident permit, but from a fast Google search it looks like that it might depend on the value of the house. In any case you should contact the Greek embassy in the country you live in.
hi thank you for your video its very helping :) i wanted to know if you know how can i open a bank account - im doing a relocation on August and want to come ready with all the pperwork. im an EU citizenship but im israeli and i live in israel .
Γεια σου, So I am 15 and I am considering moving to Greece and for the most part I am optimistic, I just have a few worries, namely the military requirements, as well as the attitude toward lgbtq+ peoples & what the outlook is for entrepreneurship. I hope my queries aren’t too broad χαχαχα, αγαπώ Ελλάδα από την Αμερική 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇷
Well the truth is that if you're Greek you'll have to join the military at some point. It lasts for a year but you'll probably won't have to go before you finish your bachelor's degree. Are for LGBTQ+ things aren't that bad, but not that good either. I'll probably have to make a video about that. I'm quite not familiar with the requirements and benefits of creating a company or opening your own business I'm afraid. From what I've heard it's not the easiest thing, but I guess it depends on the type of business and the time you open it. Hope that have you a few info and welcome to Greece. And if you don't like it I guess you can always move back to the US! ☺️
@@GetawayJamie well I’m hoping for the best and I have heard you are sweet people, so hopefully if I come, I stay. In spite of problems, many countries have something to be proud of, and as is the case for many European countries, Greece has things to be proud of. :)
@@Delivery_Boy_RoyGood choice. People here are very very close-minded and opinionated about almost anything, including LGBTQ+ I’ve lived in the UK and at some point I returned and was so culturally shocked I had to go back
is it a good idea to move to greece and to invist there in a small project like restaurant for example we are living in brussels right now but really we are so tired here because many things like whether and etc..... and we are in love withe greece
What i really really fear moving to greece are taxes [i dont depend on the local economy, but im afraid to be double taxed or any trouble) But even so its still one of my dream countries in europe (with malta) Good video, just subscribed ✌
John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

@@GetawayJamie that’s a horrible idea. The world has enough places for that. Traditional places for traditional places are still required for human sanity. Look at those places….. plenty enough for them.
This summer, there's no need to prove your vaccination status, but from September things might change and a vaccination certificate or negative test may be required to work, travel, dine out etc
Considering Greece is technically bankrupt, debt to gdp, plus they use the Euro which has bail in conditions, that’s why Greece and Cyprus limited amount people could take out of the bank , you do not own your own money. Cost of living vs standard of living, high cost low standards, can’t flush toilet paper and massive graffiti problem and very inefficient professionals and government departments. Even Greek businesses are moving to Bulgaria . Less tax and cheaper. Georgia 1 year visas and cheaper and much more efficient. Or you can move to Asia. Cheaper and more efficient. The fact of the massive debt and the amount of Greeks leaving should tell you something.
I think you are wrong, are you aure? Because whenever I go to Europe I always make time to visit Greece too. By the way hey have a relatively big debt but they have managed to make early payments so that's a great sign.
Business are not moving to Bulgaria ! Only the bad quality cheap ones ! You compare Asia and Georgia with Greece ! In Greece you will. Not take 400-500 per month like Asia and Georgia ! Bette elite style more opportunities and last but not least 100000 more beautiful than the countries you mentioned !!

So all in all, Greece is full of pros! So come to 🇬🇷 people! And our free healthcare system is something super important that we always forget about!
I like that you're super enthusiastic, but not everything is that good. Free healthcare is a big pro though!

Nothing is free. Someone always pays for it weather through tariffs, taxes, or lower wages. Other than that, it is great.

Which bank do you recommend for foreigners which has good interest rates for investment?
No charge for transfers between banks?

To be honest I'm not the right person to advise you to that. The only thing I know is that bureaucracy is not very helpful...
I'm from America how would I live there for a couple of months?
I believe you won't have a problem. You might even find that everything is cheaper, apart from technology products and gas.
