Thank you for this. I always thought that you had to have a tempered glass bowl and sit it over the sauce pan to act as a double boiler. This method is very easy and convenient! Thank you.
Yes Brenna, I hope you will try this method!
Same I also thought like u
Jesus cares
I be burning the chocolate all the time. I’m so thankful for this video.
5:01 Thanks for sharing this. I was able to successfully melt chocolate without it seizing. At first I was worried that it wasn't melting as fast as it should and had considered melting it with the skillet of water back on the stove. But then the chocolate began to melt steadily and I was able to have that luscious shiny melted chocolate.
You did an amazing job of explaining everything. Thank you so much for making my first time easy. I needed this to melt choclate for valuntines day balloon bowl and heart shaped molds. It turned out so perfect thanks to your help and guidance.
I tried melting chocolate directly in the microwave and it turned out to be very bitter.. This video was very helpful.. Thank you
If you want to melt chocolate in the microwave, you have to do it in intervals of 30seconds and not more than that . Every time you put in microwave, it has to be no more than 30 minutes and check out consistencies until you get to the consistencies you want.
Hope that helps.
Same with me
i literally just put a chocolate bar on a plate (that can go in a microwave) for 20 seconds and it comes out nice
You are BTS army
Same
Pro Tip- The video starts at 2:00 mins, and watch it at 2x speed to save time.

Thank you so much for this video! I tried melting chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second intervals however, it came out lumpy and chunky. I decided to look it up on RUclips and came across your video. I bought some baking chocolate and melted it as in your tutorial on the stove and it came out perfect.
I'm so glad I found this video, learning about the water/wetness is so important! My melting turned out perfectly thanks to that info, waiting to see how the final product comes out of the oven. Thank you.
This is a great video. I'm planning on making a dessert that requires melted chocolate. At the moment I don't have a microwave. This is a great help.

Brilliant. Clear. Explained why. Easy. Never done it before. Looks great. I put some orange oil in. It may not set 'crisp', but some softness to the chocolate woukd be great . Thank you. Good job.
Great video! This is the first time seeing a wide skillet used as a double boiler so intuitive and resourceful. I won't have to waste more money on kitchenware :D

Oh cool, this is a nice method for people who don't have legit double boilers. Love your accent, by the way! Very calming.
Thank you so much for this video. It was really easy the one doing in the double-boiler. My mom's birthday cake came out wonderfully. Actually, even I won't boast but but a beginner like me did wonderfully.
Am so glad Upasana! Belated birthday wishes to your mother!
@@SumaRowjee-cakesandmore will convey yr wishes to mom. Thanks again. Many of yr videos r really simple and easy to follow.
This is very helpful n quick method really likes it ... thank you so much
This is not a double boiler. Your pot has direct contact with your pan, even though you have water around it, this is still just cooking a pot on the stove normally with some extra metal between. A double boiler needs the pot to nestle above the boiling water and the apparatus holding the boiling water needs to be able to direct it upwards with high walls, preferably a snug contact so the steam goes directly onto the nestled pot above. The heat distribution and consistency is different.
Your video was neat. Thank you for taking the time to post.
Thank you lady that helped me with My cake
So cool aunty .
I whatched it cause I am a 5th standard girl is making a home made cake for my mom and dad .
So I need to know how to melt chocolate.

🤯
I always thought why chocolate always got lumpy, I used to pour milk, thank you so much for telling all the specifics. ✨️
I used to do the mistake of using milk from fridge in melted chocolate to make it thin. But the choc would immediately seize. Chocolate is temperature sensitive. Guess milk should be warm n then added.. Or added at the beginning with chocolate
Thank you for this video the others make it so complicated but the wording and camera angles u used made it so easy to follow☺️😁
Thank you for the tips..., i neva knew that liquid make the sause crumbly. I always used some milk and my chocolate melt was never a success. Im going to use your method. .NO MOISTURE. thank u again. Your tutorial was extremely beneficial for me..

You can melt chocolate chips. The best way to melt chocolate chips is to put them in a plastic bowl and keep re-heating until how you want it. I just did it and it came out really good. I started off with 15 sec, 20 sec, then 45 sec and it melted. Do not use a glass bowl.
Very well explained ☺️

People have been using Nestle's chocolate chips for melting in tons of recipes for many many years. Same method to melt, slow with pan of water like that. Add eagle brand milk with nuts and jogi berries for easy great fast fudge. Pour into glass or any small square container and put in fridge until firm.
It was nice in taste sis thanks for ur video
Mam it was so nice trick
Just starting with chocolate and looking for any tips. Thank you.
Hope you will try this method !
I will.
I bought a big bag of Belgian chocolate which is designed for cooking. On its own, it is quite bitter, so needs some butter and sugar added. I have experimented, creating an ugly mass lump which was actually quite tasty.
Research, research, research. I intend to master this skill and hope to create some chocolate covered fruits or similar.
Thank you so much for this, I want to do chocolates for my grandsons birthday cake, and I have the moulds but nothing else fancy and can't afford anything in the time I have.
