Phuzzy you are for real the king of the sea of thieves. Not only because of your awesome skills, but also because of how wholesome you are with every pirate out there and how you can turn any regular event into an amazing story. Your videos fill me with joy, keep up the good work man :D
This dude really pauses the video to show us his split second decision making. When I’m alone and a brig is barreling toward me I turn into cornered raccoon and start screaming
This is only partially true. Most other creators use these, every second they play, but they just don't talk about them. The explaining of them though, that is what makes him a nice SoT youtuber
Your attitude about the game has really inspired my attitude while playing. Its a healthy perspective to realize running less skilled or newer crews off the server wherever they go only makes the game worse by turning them off from it. There is already enough salt in the sea for them to experience without me adding to it. Keep doing your thing man. Wish there were more people like you to sail with
You have a hell of a perspective. Your analysis on them finishing the fort, therefore being a happier crew, therefore encouraging more adventures was an excellent point. You're a great sport boss.
I love that intro, honestly. Even though it's a different game entirely, Puzzle Pirates was similar in the sense that you needed to also predict your enemies movements. I brought that mindset to SoT, and honestly, it helps with tricky situations. But that's only based around the naval battle, so this is a great tutorial for someone who wishes to expand their knowledge.
Phuzzy this was amazing, thanks for all the tips and all of the different strategies in the video. And i would like to say your one of my favorite sea of thieves streamers just because of how thoughtful and kind you are, i am so thankful for finding your account on twitch when i did.
You are the golden standard for pvpers. You think and plan instead of mindless metas, you rely only on skill, you still participate in events and gather any loot (hate people who only sink and let loot go), you arent toxic in chat, and are able to be reasoned with
Phuzzy is the GOAT . I got jumped earlier as a solo sloop and I DESTROYED the brig attacking due to this man’s tips. You saved my merchant voyage my friend
Phuzzy, you are a huge reason why im still trying to get into sea of thieves. With so many better players than me, I have had a considerable amount of bad experiences. My mates first experience was a tucker killing us outside the goldhoard after our vault loot that took us a good few hours of learning, so my only crew sessions are through your discord (thank you massively for that too.) I feel like a lot of new players are pushed away from the sweaty sailors. So your wholesomeness is amazing and im glad we all have a true pirate such as yourself as a role model.
Love watching your random friendly encounters (have had several myself); just wish you were on NA or I was on EU so we could run into each other again outside of the arena; I love when you meet a random crew and end up allying.
There's being a good sport and then there's being a great human. Thanks for your work had to subscribe on this one, its helpful useful information people gloss over. These details are the difference between loving the game and having a lack luster experience. Let em off the hook for a bigger purpose. ✌️

I like the use of Kamikaze Rowboats. I put about 8 kegs of gunpowder on the bow and ram the thing into reaper boats while screaming 'BANZAI!!!' into the game chat. Its incredibly effective and you spawn safely back on your boat already making its getaway as they either sink scratching their heads, or frantically attempt to savethe boat.
Yet another amazing video. It’s nice to see someone explaining strategy and tactics. You did much better than I can. I have experience in this from the military but its tough to explain to others. Great job and keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next video and hope to see you on the seas!
Actually, the ambient skeletons on towers respawn if a ship approaches the island, meaning even when they're all dead they still come back to warn you. The main reason to leave them alive is to discourage tuckers in the towers and to know they will not shoot your ship upon respawning.
I thought they only come back if everyone on the fort dies. If those on the fort die all the ambient skellys will return. Are you sure this isn't why you think skellies return when other ships come by?
When everyone leaves the island, say, by teleporting to the Ferry of the Damned which is far from any stronghold, the game unloads everything there. This does mean ambient skeletons will respawn then, as well, but it's not the only time. Another ship approaching the island will result in the ambient skeletons respawning and manning their cannons once more, even if there are people still on the island and in range of it.
@@ultmateragnarok8376 I believe you're wrong here. You likely have died and not realized the skellies respawned because they have nothing to shoot at until another ship approaches. It has been common practice to leave the tower skellies alive since the game launched. Unless they changed it with Fort of Fortune.
@@ultmateragnarok8376 I have also killed skeletons which never respawned when a ship approached. It's not obscure or a mechanic. So perhaps it glitched on that time you saw it. Unless skellies respawning changed in a recent update, since this game came out it's always been a strategy to not kill skellies at the fort towers.

The e-brake turn is super useful. Crank the wheel hard to one side, then hit the anchor, let it hit the bottom, soon as it does start raising. You'll get a great on-a-dime turn, and be moving by the time you've rotated if you caught the anchor in time. This will ruin a sneaking ships plan and force a straight confrontation. Works wonders for me
If I am going to end up investing my time into this game, I might as well look at your videos and give you a sub. Not only you gave the enemy crew a fighting experience and showed them how frightening and experienced sloop crew can be, but you have also shown mercy and let them enjoy the rewards of their reaping. Because selling a Fort of Fortune loot can be very difficult as other ships would stick to you like flies to sh*t. Honestly need more players like you, who do not trash on newbies for joy at their expense. You do follow the Pirate Code through and through. 😄
With the addition of FoF could you make a guide on how to successfully defend the forts from attacking ships? I’ve been needing some help with this, I’ve lost a number of forts to incoming ships.
This one is low to moderately helpful. Not to say you havent covered a plethora of great methods/tactics in other videos (ty). Being a solo sloop I find my greatest advantage are with kegs. I have sunk far more ships with kegs than any other method, especially because I generally try to avoid pvp. And I do not store them in the crows nest :)
Sorry I don't understand? The emissary sunk status was just me scuttling my ship before signing out . If you are talking about flags, there is a great number of players that aren't aware you have to drop your flag, so they sell their loot and sign out, leaving the flag somewhere on the shoreline.
