Awesome job! I admire your confidence and positive attitude. I also liked how you took us through your thought process for how you tackled this difficult task. (Follow the instructions step by step.) I've been thinking about buying and installing a lift kit for my 2007 toyota sienna minivan. We'll see! 🙂

I have been seriously thinking of doing a Sienna lift. I did my own 2002 4Runner. What I thought would take a weekend, ya, three weekends. I forgot to figure in the Rustbelt into the equation. Your van looks great, excited to see the bigger wheels and spacers. I do think I will live without the lift kit, as I remember when I got my 4Runner done, I said "NEVER AGAIN!" But i have enjoyed the TRD mods. I was also thinking of putting Bilstein shocks all around to hopefully get more clearance and improve the ride for long hauls. New sub. from the 641. Always thumbs up!!!
Hey Phil, great video. I’m getting ready to lift my 06 Sienna AWD. Have you had any issues since you’ve lifted this? I’ve heard about the CV wobble from some comments on other sites. Any issues. I’d greatly like to here your review of yours.

Very cool man! I’ve been looking for a mini van to lift and make a camper to live in actually,I’m still at the saving my money and deciding on what van to get.but I’ll get there soon,thanks for all the info.
The work you could DIY on this is amazing. What feels weird to me is that you lift the van body, but differential still sits on those extensions about same height as before, right?

With so many adapters, would you consider it a body lift?
My kit is on the way. If I can do it in 15hrs, I’ll be pleased. Hopefully the alleged CV wobble wont be a problem.
How did it go? I keep seeing more comments about CV issues with Sienna lifts. One guy said he went through two factory CV axles in under 40,000 miles.
@@brawndothethirstmutilator9848 my chickened out and returned the kit. I may add a simpler kit with less lift later.
I love this, just saw another one of these also lifted getting bigger tires can wait to see yours with some as well.

@@johnkoehnen3183 I can't remember the specific tire brand, I bought them off someone from FB Marketplace. The size though is 235/70R16. And the Sienna is a 2008

Hello. I have the same Sienna AWD and looking for a tutorial to change rear coil springs (mine springs are broken). According to some video on the internet, FWD is quite simple. Just jack up, remove wheels, disconnect rear shocks at the top mounting point and that is it, a little bit of pressure to the subframe and old coild out and new in. For AWD, it looks like not that simple, but I don't understand, how to do it the easiest way.
Basically, existanse of rear diff prevents subframe to drop low enough, right? What exactly? I suspect the differential itself is not a problem. Do I need to disconnect cv joint? Both (suspect that only muffler side is the obstacle). Can you give my any tips?
Will you do my 2016 Chrysler, I need a 3 inch lift. Price?
What was the lift you used I seen people using truck lifts everywhere I look I can't find any for my van I'm trying to lift my 05 relay fwd
I used the Journeys Offroad kit!
I've seen Sienna lift kits that don't require near this amount of labor. So do some research before selecting.

May I ask where did you find the instructions for doing a lift kit on a Sienna?
They were on the website where I got the kit from (journeys off road)
how do you change a flat tire? what kind of scissor jack do you use?
I use a nicer 2 ton jack when I work, but all cars should have a scissor jack in the trunk and a tire iron that fits the wheel's lugnuts that'll work for you!

@@suny.8342 Last time I took one of my 17" wheels off the scissor jack gave me almost 1/2" clearance from the pavement so now I carry a short piece of 2x4.
@@brucewmclaughlin9072 I read that a lot about the 2x4. Thanks for sharing your experience. Mines a 22 sienna. 17in. And the journey 2in lift. Did not think about changing tires when the time comes so trying to find options.
