It also happened to be the last song in a 17 songs concert + Encore. The full concert was over an hour long. The Encore sond was Survive, which I believe Maunalee already reacted to!?
You can see in the face of 13 years old Alejandra that she is really exhausted when she start to play that keyboard. It's not only because it's the 17th song but performing at 7,350 ft takes a lot of energy.
The Lunario gig took place right after their 2 week whirlwind tour of Mexico with Eruca Sativa and Ale really was exhausted. Doctor told her to go home and do nothing but rest for a few weeks. They cancelled a couple of gigs they had scheduled while Ale recuperated. Just part of learning how to be a touring musician. It's not an easy way to make a living.
If I got it right in addition to playing and singing they are also acting out the story in song and it starts at the beginning of the record all the way to the end. Both Pau and Dani take turns playing the parts of the story. I am not musical so I always took the vocal differences to be part of the play.
Beautiful rock ballad even if the lyrics are about something a bit dark. Love their raw gritty sound in their live performances along with their high energy on stage. Last song of set surely they are fatigued.
Next to last. The played an *encore song "Survive" last.* Where they got their forth or fifth wind that concert to finish the night. You can tell both Pau & Ale were exhausted. Watch the video again and watch Ale on the keys & Pau singing the intro w/o playing the drums.
This was my favorite concert of the Warning so far out of the 7 or 8 Times ive seen them live. I had the honor of eating dinner with them at about 1:30 am after the meet and greet was all over and I was sitting across from Pau the drummer! We had a great conversation and she even ordered my food because I had no idea what to get. But as for Ale the base player she was sitting next the Pau and she was a Zombie! Her mom ended up taking Ale back to the hotel even before super was done she was so miserable. It took her a few days to recover from that day and night and yes they canceled a show or 2 on account of it.
I had read comments from those who attended this concert that because of how it affected Ale, they made sure from then on to have more breaks between songs and more water available to the sisters throughout the show. Ale had heat exhaustion coupled with the thinner air, plus the long concert.. it nearly landed her in the hospital, similar to what happened to Pau in an earlier XXI concert.
Adam Trombino another factor is that they hardly got to eat anything they whole day as they were busy with this and that none stop. They didn’t eat for real until that night after the show and by then it was to late for Ale, she was done.
It's a very emotional song, I love it, this one is the last of there story telling of the concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, great review Maunalee and side kid Charlotte, you guys make a great team 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

The Can’t Hardly PlayBoys She is a complete bad ass. She also runs all the additional set stuff from her laptop. The additional media in the background and some added instrumentals that play with each song are ran by her. Listen to interviews. All 3 are really smart but Paulina is running the stage set like a pro producer from her laptop.
Great reaction. What order this song was in their show- This was the last song of the 22 or 23 song concert! I hear her and Dany (Guitarist) got off in their pitch sometimes but I absolutely love their passion. Every song was written by the 3 of them and is part of a very deep story (Queen of the Murder Scene). They get so deep into their performances that it takes a toll on them.
This was my first time hearing this particular song, and I've loved all their music, but you are right. It skyrockets for me to the top 3 or 4 songs. Charlotte's reaction when it went from slow song into rock, was priceless. Get that girl a drumset!!!
The last song of the show. TW had months of hard work to prepare QOTMS and this show. They had to cancel a couple of shows after that and Ale (the youngest) was tired and needed to rest for some days. Imagine all the stress before all this great álbum and show!!! They Rock!!!!💙💚💛🇧🇷😃
Give daughter a small digital drumset and that’s a great start. For me this song could be a tiny bit longer. Specially the guitar portion could have stretched out twice or even three times longer to give it the ”classic” power ballade formula.

The Queen lies dying in The End and these are her last thoughts. She regrets nothing because she still feels that she did it all for love. Interestingly, Paulina sings both the first and this last song, making a cycle where Dust To Dust includes the line “In *the end* everything just turns back into *dust to dust* ”. The final lines of The End are “start again” and Dust To Dust says “and we shall start again”.
The warning certainly don’t need me to defend them but it bears repeating, this as a lot of the videos you’ve reviewed from them was in Mexico City which is 2,100’ higher than Denver Co. There’s no way that won’t affect the vocals.
One of the things that impresses me is the switch of instruments they can do in a song, especially like this one where Ale goes from a long run on base to working the keyboard and then back again. Maybe I am over impressed and that is not so hard but to me who cant play one instrument.
In addition to getting Charlotte a drum set, you could also consider getting her Rock Band 4! The Warning actually started out playing the Rock Band video game, and now they have two of their songs on Rock Band 4: Free Falling, and Survive. It’d be an easy way for Charlotte to start drumming away like Pau!

I say this because it is important for me to let you know this doesn't come from the point of view as criticism of your reactions. They are yours of course and I respect your point of view. I would like to say I would disagree with you on their voices being so important to the quality of their music. To compare them with Grace Vanderwhaal or Angelina Jordan I think is a little based on how musicians are judged during the days of AGT and American Idol. First off musicians like Grace and Angelina are vocal musicians only and while the both play instruments they do not play complicated parts that most long time musicians can't even play. Also I have heard you say that they sound better as the song goes on. They really do not. I am not saying they are flat the whole song which is mostly where they fall short lyrically but that it is actually your brain filtering out the the mid range of the song as it goes along. They because there are so many parts to their songs are being recorded on open air mics. The mics I do not think in Lunario are running through a sound board. Unfortunately this type of mic often does lose the highs and lows of a particular voice but your ears adjusts to it automatically like muscle memory. I only know this because I was part of a study that sought to prove that all senses have innate ability to adjust to stimuli which is why we develop taste, smell, touch and sound insensitivity. My main point is that because The Warning are not signed to a label it hurts them because even their professionally recorded concerts do have the technology of a Grace or Angelina. If there were effects in their vocal performance like echo they would not sound so flat at times. I like them more because they do not and I think if you were to go back to live performances of Joan Jett, Chrissy Hines or Blondie you would see that they sounded flat times too because those technologies weren't so predominant back then when recorded live.
Angelina Jordan is amazing, but Grace VanderWaal is a squealer. lol. The Warning turned down the Game Shows when they were asked to audition. Good for them! The music industry has been cramming crap down our throats since the advent of MTV, and if this group stick to their guns, we're gonna have a revival of proper ROCK!
This is a solid 11. If I want Pau to sing on perfect pitch I would just buy the album from Amazon. Britney Spears "sings" perfectly in concert....I meant lip synch perfectly in concert.

Her voice is much better in the beginning of this song at this concert. This song is at the 1:16:30 mark of the video. Also the opening song Dust to Dust you see a lot Paulina up close.
Just a couple of ideas on vocals. 1. You wondered in an earlier video why the drummer isn't the lead vocalist. Well, she can't play the drums the way she does, and sing. And she loves drumming too much to give it up. 2. Some of their song lines can be a little overlong. More experienced composers would pare it down You can hear sometimes they seem to be rushing to fit all the words in. Not good for the singer. 3. These ladies don't mess around between songs. There's very little pause between, even an extra 20 or 30 seconds would really help the vocalist (whoever it is) just to recover a little more. And just a personal thing, I think I prefer the live version to the studio recordings on many of their songs. In the best of the live versions you really get a sense of the energy between them and the audience, and I miss that in the albums.
Paul John Phillips since there is not much to do but agree with your comment and I like to talk I'll just expound on number 3 a little. I think our ladies are missing a huge opportunity for rest during songs by not adding vocal breaks with short instumentals. Everyone does it, even pop singers, but for some reason they don't. Far be it from me to critisize. I love their music, but vocal health wouldn't be as hard to maintain with more instrumentation.

But all the great bands have a real break between numbers, just so the vocalist has a chance to recover. They're young and full of energy, but going forward, may find that pace hard to maintain.

Did she go to the hospital after, because I know Pau did earlier that year, but I thought Ale did as well.

Well, the body gets used to the altitude after a couple of days but they didn't have that time to adjust.

The Warning have some competition now Baby Metal. The drummer for them well perhaps she will get as good as him one day. Singing wise we all have our tastes. I prefer the older sister of the Warning shes the talent. To each their own.

Can this band do any wrong? I THINK NOT!!!! I'm torn between Pau's voice and Dany's voice. I'm leaning towards Pau as my favorite singer in the band. not to take anything away from Dany, she is a powerhouse but there is something about Pau's that just seems right to me. (what's your opinion on their voices?) as as usual, dig your critiques whether I agree or not and it was a nice cameo by the next Paulina. haha

@@chewingpianoI have high regards to good composers. And The Warning are pretty good songs writers. I don't pay much attention to artist that has great voice and mediocre songs. They're dime a dozen here in youtube.
