    I’ll go first:
I’m Christina. I’m married to my best friend, Seth, we have 5 kids (ages 3, 4, 8, 12, & 15), and love our family, Jesus, and adventuring together.
I have experience as a public school teacher, private school teacher, and homeschool mom!
I love the Charlotte Mason education approach, and many others, but I’d say we are more of an eclectic homeschool-mixing the different aspects of homeschool styles that we love-living books, literature-based learning, unschooling, nature study, and so much more!
Whether you are considering homeschooling, new to homeschooling, considering alternative ways to educate your child, or just looking for some encouragement and inspiration for your motherhood journey, I hope you feel welcome and encouraged here 🤍

Great video! We travelschool a lot because my husband has a fairly flexible schedule, and we are counting down the (3) years until he retires and we can travel long term with our then-high-schooler! I can’t think of any better way to spend your high school years than traveling the country!

I’d definitely want to to Catskills unit study. That was my very first vacation away from home as a child. I live in West Virginia now but am from Connecticut. I would love to go check out Acadia with my family also. I love your content and all the ideas for outside the box schooling.

We are doing the 1000 hours outside challenge and I love it! We live near so many state parks so for the past 2 years we've gotten the state park pass so that we can go to any SC state park. It's soooo worth it.
Children learn so much just being in nature and going to different locations. I'm not the best at making a plan for travelschooling, it's a work in progress over here.

I am currently doing an ocean unit with my daughter's. I am always checking out the maximum amount of books from my library. 😅 (50 books 📚 ) This video is perfect because I've been thinking about wanting to do travelschooling. My goal is to visit all of Latin America. I used to be a Spanish teacher.

How did you learn to create unit studies? It’s something I’ve been thinking about doing!

Just by doing it I guess? I was a teacher and created curriculum, but not unit studies!

This is the first year we are trying homeschooling. My son is in Pre K. He is excited to get started. I am just a little nervous because he is our miracle child and it is looking like he will be the only one we have unfortunately. Does anyone else homeschool one child?
