Yes, the factories in Eslöv, Lund and Karlskrona closed in 1998. But the company ”Åkermans Verkstäder” was sold to the VME-group already back in 1990-91. The H-machines were produced up until the year 1992 and were replaced in 1993 by the E-models that Volvo still uses.
