Please keep these vids coming!! I'm mainly using Native Instruments and really grew into Komplete Kontrol for my beats & samples. However I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface when it comes to the SAMPLING tools. This was very helpful ty.
Awesome! Cheers!
I'm just considering getting KONTAKT and this helped me massively.....simple explanation. totally appreciated thanks
Awesome! I'm glad the video helped!
Thank you so much. I was googling a lot about this but there only were voice mixing guides when I searched for 'voice as instrument'.
Damn I loove this feature and due to your perfect explanation I managed it to use your guide on Cubase and had a lot of fun
Awesome! I'm happy that the video helped!
Fantastic vid. Love final space too. Thanks for the smile and the smarts haha
Awesome! Thank you!
Sounds really nice!
Thank you!
Nice refresher going back into it again (refer using Kontakt as a sampler) ...nice cap’n Kirk chair
haha Thanks!!
Thanks that was a great help 🙏🏻
Right on!
I seriously did not know that sampler trick...nicely done!
Thank you!
Thanks for the video!
Cheers!
That was really good. I wanted to make an instrument in Kontakt but had no idea where to start. Now I feel like I at least have a toe hold.
Awesome!
Thanks, it was useful
Awesome!
Thanks for the video, I haven't seen Kontakt used like that before. Usually see it as a library player for instruments.
What's the difference between using Kontakt Player for the samples compared to using Komplete Kontrol?
Cool! As far as I'm aware Komplete Kontrol is for using Native Instruments keyboard controllers with the Komplete plug-ins. It has various parameters pre-mapped to the controller.
I've had Kontakt 12 Ultimate for a good 4 years and despite knowing how powerful it is, have BARELY used it.
However, I finally decided to purchase the KOMPLETE KONTROL S61 MK2 keyboard, and now I'm finally going
to take full advantage of owning Kontakt 12. With that said.. I really REALLY wish this keyboard was fully setup
for FL Studio. I can control the transport stuff, and route the knobs on the keyboard to faders/knobs in FL studio,
but there's so much more this keyboard has to offer that unfortunately doesn't work with FL Studio. It integrates
perfectly with Ableton, Logic, Cubase, and all these other DAWS that I don't use and don't care to use.. why can't
it work like that with FL STUDIO! That small detail drives me mad!
I hear you!
Great video! I tend to think of Kontakt as a sample player and instrument, but would rarely think of it as a sample editor. How about slicing and chopping a sample?
Thank you! You sure can, here's a video showing sample chopping - ruclips.net/video/E5fYPDwMzOE/видео.html
Is it possible to switch instruments using the computer keyboard in a own created instrument bank? - I don't want to use the mouse cursor because I play the digital saxophone and it is not practical.
I am not aware of a way to do this, but maybe someone out there has figured it out.
0:55 Fuuuuuuuckinnnn AAAAaaayyeeeee! 🤣
I have a question. When i hit the key, the sample stops as soon as i lift my finger up. Is there a way to let the sample play all the way until its end even if i lift my finger up?
I searched through the forums and I found these instructions (which I haven't tried yet so hopefully it works for you) - "Turn on Sample loop in the wave editor, select one shot, and bypass the envelope completely at the bottom."
What if I want to audition a bunch of different samples using the same envelope, etc..? For example, selecting a short decay percussion sample to use as a layer on top of a bass line?
I found a video where the guy shows us how to do it; ruclips.net/video/GXGwDziXdjA/видео.html
Your Kontact guitar actually sounds like a guitar! To me, a lot of them sound like pianos.
hahah true! Thank you!
Thumbs up for moon cake !
haha thank you!
i like the way you play keyboard how did you learn it? how long? what kind of chords did you play at 4:36
Thanks! I've been playing for about 30 years and my Dad is an amazing piano player so he taught me a lot. Those chords are based around a minor 9 thing with some melody.
@@RomanRicciothanks
where can i get that VHS emu?
If you own the full version of Reaktor 6 you can download it here; www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/11003/
Nice video. I just downloaded komplete start and will be exploring it today. Can I do this with the free bundle as well? Do you know?
Thanks! I'm not sure, but Kontakt in its basic form is a sampler so maybe? I'd give it a try!
Roman Riccio Yes right. Just wasnt sure what all i would be getting from the free bundle. So I did look at it today and I was able to drag and drop audio files within the sampler which was something i was looking for and actually had time to really look at Kontakt today and I’m glad that I stumbled upon it. So many more things I got from it that i wasn’t expecting. Thanks!
@@jalennorwood3740 That's awesome, I'm glad it works! Have fun and I hope you make some amazing music!
hello pls explain how to use exs24 samples with kontakt 6..? i have some good sound i wanna use them with kontakt..regards
I tried to figure it out but could not get it to work with exs samples. You could theoretically rebuild the patches in Kontakt by importing all the individual wav files and saving as a new instrument, but that would take a lot of time.
can you record in to Kontakt from a music device like a normal sampler
you even have a real sampler built into logic called autos ampler
I don't think you can record straight into Kontakt... as far as I know you can only import audio files that you've already recorded.
Hey Roman, for some reason when I drag a sample into kontakt, all the keys play the same note. How can I fix this?
I'm not sure about that. So you are playing different notes on a midi keyboard and the pitch of the sample stays the same?
@@RomanRiccio yup
@@karamvirchopra I tried to make it happen on my computer and I couldn't do it. I also googled the problem and couldn't find anything. If you've tried several different samples and it's still a problem you might need to contact Native Instruments about this.
@@romanriccio4482 will do Roman! Thanks for all the help 🙏🏼
does it have to be a wav or can you use an mp3
I just tried to drag in an mp3 and it didn't work. But there are free programs that can convert mp3s to wav.
Is the vhs instrument available?
For sure, it's free and you can get it here - www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/11003/
Finally having Logic Pro X you can use even better sampler comes from Logic then this from Kontakt 6
is this included in the free version?
I'm not sure, but I think the free version is just a "player" for libraries.
@@RomanRiccio can u please tell me what is the name of this section that u throw the sample and creates the harmonie? i need to buy JUST that hahaha
@@lasolasolaso I think you need a full version of Kontakt bro... I just checked out your Pranna video. Awesome visuals and cool track! :)
@@RomanRiccio wow thanks so much bro! glad u liked it
.. think im going to have to buy it lol
you didn't even like show how you got all the sounds in there 🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾
Yeah sorry about that.
Sorry. Not helpful. Rename this video "nothing to do with using Native Instruments Kontakt as a Sampler."?
