There this spin-off program of America's Game called Missing Rings; well this 1983 San Francisco 49ers team could have been on that program. This team was stacked with talent, but the Los Angeles Raiders were on another level. I hate the Raiders (Chargers fan since for life), but they were the shit in 1983.
According to the record the wk 1 game vs phl was played on 9/3 which was a Saturday - how could that happen? I thought that was not supposed to occur that early in the season

This is my All Time favorite Forty Niner team! That they were cheated, mistreated and defeated made me love them all the more. It's also the only campaign that I managed to see every game. From the pre season all the way through to "The RFK Robbery" R.I.P. to all the players and coaching staff and the Forty Niner Faithful from the 1983 season who have gone home.
@@ericradford2142 By successfully running up the score early in games in 1984, with the "Scripted first 25 plays" they insured themselves against loosing any close games on account of incompetent and or biased officiating. They almost pulled it off.
@@kidmack1121 18-1 in 1984 with a Superbowl ring. I went to see them at the airport (SFO) coming home from the game that night. The 5,000+ fans that met them at the arrival gates gave them the boost that reached all the way to the Superbowl the next season.

Still mad about the NFC championship game, but that freed up Joe to meet Jennifer, which worked out well.
