Additionally Dale, I am designer that uses Solidworks and I was thinking about making my own setup blocks for 1/2, 3/4, and 1" material. Can you advise on where to get the profile that you used in your video and if you know whether the profile would need to be adjusted in each case? Many thanks in advance!
The company I bought the bit from sells plastic/nylon blocks of different thicknesses, so different set-up blocks for different thicknesses of wood are probably required. I measured my bit as closely as I could measure it, then drew it in Sketchup to do the illustrations I have in my video. Hope that helps ! Thanks
