I'm glad you show more of the outside view than a cockpit. Since, in reality, we all can only sit inside the airplane while it is flying, seeing how beautiful it is in action from the top view is fascinating. Even though it is just a simulation, the length of the video is reasonable. Many channels that do the same are just making us stare at a cockpit for the majority of the length of the video. Which is boring.
Not too shabby even for an aussie. The minute details of this sim make it very impressive. Such as the plane window vibration 30:30 in the close-up. The point where VR is achieved in relation to the terminal. Well done.
You have done it again! I think I have said it before, You are My favourite Flightsimmer. You are so professional in filming and "flying". It's so very very realistic. Your films should have been rewarded with Oscar's for best Flightsim films. It's an absolute privilege to see Your films. So much respect. Sincerely Kjell from Norway.
Flew into Wellington last week just as the southerly storm hit, plane failed first landing attempt, got in on the second go…if only you where on the flight deck ;-))
You did a great job, all is simulated at the top level, and you put a lot of work and effot. You have my like and a new sub. Congratulations for your work!
Inversed the seasons though. The landscape looks summer, yet the sunset is winter. Should be snow capped mountains all around Qtown. Other than that, it's pretty good.
Haha yeah I had to play around with the snow cover - I wanted snow on the mountains but not on the ground, and MSFS doesn't allow you that so far, it will always add snow at all levels, so I didn't add any.
Beautiful - just mentioning that most (if not all) domestic flights out Queenstown (to the west - on 23) turn left and fly south over Lake Wakatipu (not north).
@@gmilne13 Thank you, that's an interesting fact I wasn't aware of! I think I recall seeing a few flights climbing our West when I was in Queenstown years ago, hwnce that route 🙂

one query, from where can one learn about the individual components of the cockpit, all the systems, and procedures of a specific aircraft type, like this very A320, without having to undergo type-rating?? any kind of online source, or something? really looking forward for an answer as an avgeek...
It's been a combination of reading through aircraft operations manuals (e.g. A320 normal procedures - you'll find it on Google), watching others fly here on RUclips, and working a little bit through lessons, such as these ones (in German, though): www.youtube.com/@captain_ingo In addition, I've been 'flight simming' since 2001 from when I was 11 years old - over the years your knowledge grows gradually (noting that there's a lot I don't know!). I found that once you've got a feeling for it, commercial aviation follows a pretty consistent set of rules and procedures, regardless of whether it's Boeing or Airbus.
@@GeneralGuts1 Yeah that's what I tried, but I let it go too early haha. Well the right way is having it engaged continuously until maybe 20ft down to touchdown, and not letting go while on the runway.
@@sundr1v3r77 Haha yeah frame generation really makes a difference. But in MSFS 2020, even with frame generation you will get stuttering with lots of AI traffic active. Let's hope MS 2024 fixes that.

Fuel pumps are always in Auto regardless of fuel load. You can dispatch with APU Gen inop. Jets only use RNP AR departures.
