I think the reason it's so expensive is because of the location as well, but let's be honest buying a land and an actual house is better than an apartment but i guessed buying a land in korea is so expensive thats why most of the people there prefer to live in an apartment. And buildings such as condominium only last 50 years.
The comments are funny. The house is quite expensive just because it's located in Gangnam with a view. I'm sure it's an elite location in Gangnam where Chaebols live. Also, Korean usually renovate their interior and houses after buying one and mind you in this case usually the one who bought this kind of house normally having a little break from their normal life just to recharge for 1 and 2 days and back to their normal life.
The view is amazing, shame the interior of the house a bit tacky. But I guess that's really attractive to Koreans. edit: oh, it's an old apartment. No wonder it's tacky and old fashioned.

Seoul has been always expensive 😂. In the middle small city below Hanriver you could find a new A.P.T with resonabale price (under $400,000) which is equiped with good facilities of community for residents such as swimming pool, fitness center, cafe, library, kids water play ground ...and all systems in the house are working automatically.

Utterly insane pricing... But I guess for people with old money, where their wealth is in the tens or hundreds of millions of dollars. This is their type of property...
People looking at interior is missing the point. Real estate prices are all about the PSF of the location. Pricing is market-dependent. But the age should also be a factor. It goes to show how expensive homes in this area are.

wait til you see the pricing of government housing in singapore and the size. and we haven't even go to luxury part of the housing yet hahah. but most of singaporeans actually able to buy house with bank loans and subsidies. so i dont get it why celebrities who is actively working still choose to rent over buying a house. n think abt saving money to buy later. shouldn't they be buying when they still actively working n get bank loans, n 10-15 years time they prolly finish paying it off. those agent who told them to wait n save money are fraud. by the time they save and buy in 10 years time the property price would have shot much higher. than what they saved for.
