      Usually I start with 6lb and adjust up or down from there depending on the day/structure.
      This would have been 6lb for sure.
      The lures are in stores now, if your local doesn’t have them ask for them to get them in or try one of the online shops.

    hey Tom, would it be possible to make a bait junky crab soft plastic for bream?

    • @tomslater574
      @tomslater574 11 месяцев назад

      I’ve thought about it, but to be honest there’s a lot of ideas much higher on the list. I’ve never done super well with crab imitation plastics, mainly because to me a crab is moving quite slow. I want a plastic to be something I can fish at the speed I want, a grub, minnow, wave minnow those kinds of plastics if the situation calls for it I can fish quickly and cover heaps of ground, swimming them mid water. A crab shape you can’t really do that as effectively in my opinion.

      Sometimes. I usually choose colours based on water colour and confidence.

    I’m disappointed that the bait junkie jig heads are working there way loose after a while. I really like there shape but they probably need to be made from a softer compound?
    I’ve never had this problem with any other jig heads.
    Just some constructive criticism.

    • @bendover-pn1xt
      @bendover-pn1xt 11 месяцев назад

      Softer compound? Please explain more mr product developer

    • @kenoconnor3513
      @kenoconnor3513 11 месяцев назад

      The metal that the weight is made of seems very hard and may need to be softer so not to work it’s way loose. Higher lead % ??

    • @tomslater574
      @tomslater574 11 месяцев назад +4

      Appreciate the feedback, we’re always working on making our products better and we’ve already implemented changes in our production to improve the lead working loose over time. It’s not so much to do with the hardness/softness of the material but a result of the crazy slippery SaqSas coating on the hook. It’s what makes them sticky sharp but does cause some unique production challenges. But we’re always trying to improve!

    • @kenoconnor3513
      @kenoconnor3513 11 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for the explanation. They are still my favourite jig heads and I agree the hooks are sticky sharp.
