These things fish so well in the estuaries! I think you’re all going to love them
How heavy was the leader mate? Struggling to get these in my local retailers, not sure if sold out or unavailable down here in vic. Thanks for the content
Usually I start with 6lb and adjust up or down from there depending on the day/structure.
This would have been 6lb for sure.
The lures are in stores now, if your local doesn’t have them ask for them to get them in or try one of the online shops.
Wow love the sound of that drag scream.
Getting it done as always can't wait to pick these up
Looks a great lure, I’ll look forward to try. Thx.
Nice work,
Looking forward to using the new range of products
Looks like you guys filmed there at a good time, The water is currently flooding the carpark and half way across the road to the pub.
Can't wait to get back down the rnd 1 with Hobie
Yep this was earlier this year!
At the end of the day, moral of the story is- “Don’t be afraid to push the boat out.” “Let’s do it!”😊
Well it looks like I’ll need to re-stock my tackle bag with some new bait junkies. 😍👌👍
Nice
Cool , just picked up some wave minnows to try as swim jig trailers. They look great 👍
How good is the sk 732ulfs easily my favourite paired with my new airity 2000s-h. Magical
Which size revelry are you using fishing plastics? About to buy another one for a 732LFS infeet z and uncertain on which size im after.
21 REVELRY FC MQ 2000S
hey Tom, would it be possible to make a bait junky crab soft plastic for bream?
I’ve thought about it, but to be honest there’s a lot of ideas much higher on the list. I’ve never done super well with crab imitation plastics, mainly because to me a crab is moving quite slow. I want a plastic to be something I can fish at the speed I want, a grub, minnow, wave minnow those kinds of plastics if the situation calls for it I can fish quickly and cover heaps of ground, swimming them mid water. A crab shape you can’t really do that as effectively in my opinion.
it would be for fishing jetties@@tomslater574
@@tomslater574I’m keen to try the new 3in prawn. Hasn’t hit my local stores yet. Yewww!
That combo you were using at the end that weighed just over 200g looks mint. How much would that set you Back?$
does it matter what colour plastic you use for salt fish?
Sometimes. I usually choose colours based on water colour and confidence.
are you guys planning on putting the big paddle tails out in the new magma colour?
Should we?
Have you done lemon grass?
Why leave motor oil till last hardest colour to catch a fish on tom
Get better? 🤣
Motor oil is the confidence colour, was never in doubt to catch one haha that’s why I left it until last
@@tomslater574 yeah righto cheers Tommy wats yur fav colour out of all bait junkie please tell
@@joshforrester3370 my favourite colour is Bloodworm or the new Olive Oil colour
I’m disappointed that the bait junkie jig heads are working there way loose after a while. I really like there shape but they probably need to be made from a softer compound?
I’ve never had this problem with any other jig heads.
Just some constructive criticism.
Softer compound? Please explain more mr product developer
The metal that the weight is made of seems very hard and may need to be softer so not to work it’s way loose. Higher lead % ??
Appreciate the feedback, we’re always working on making our products better and we’ve already implemented changes in our production to improve the lead working loose over time. It’s not so much to do with the hardness/softness of the material but a result of the crazy slippery SaqSas coating on the hook. It’s what makes them sticky sharp but does cause some unique production challenges. But we’re always trying to improve!
Thanks for the explanation. They are still my favourite jig heads and I agree the hooks are sticky sharp.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the new shape Bait junkies. Still waiting for them to land in my local tackle shops.
