I live and knit in Southern Ontario with my husband and my terrier. The name kuriaknits comes from my last name - Kurian. Kurian has Indian and Syrian origins and I feel lucky every day that my husband shared it with me.

I'd love to hear about any/all of your thrifting journeys... That's one part of your channel I love. Because good yarn is expensive especially at the rate at which you knit it up!

I am intrigued by the carpet yarn, definitely show us! I don't find much thrifted yarn in quantity, mostly lone skeins of nice fiber or large quantities of acrylic. My problem is buying too many cashmere sweaters to reclaim. I now have many in dark colors and realize I don't like knitting dark yarn, even if they are super soft.
