Mav, I’m 63 years old andI have to tell you I really enjoy your vids. I used to have a pick up truck set up just like yours and my most favrite times were spent alone outdoors camping, fishin and eating. I built the same slide out storage bins that you have and always kept it stocked for last minute get aways. Although I’m retired and down in Florida now I always think of my time camping in my truck. Watching your travels brings me back and I really love to see that it makes you happy as well. Keep up the great work and enjoy yourself as much as you can, as they say life is short so have fun. Thanks for the vids, stay safe out there.
It just amazes me that you just go out to a random point on a frozen lake. Catch a fish and cook it on the spot. I would never do something like that but I love watching you do it.
You’re probably one of the smartest/ chillest person on RUclips that I know. After a long day of working I sit back with my cup of whisky and watch your videos.
Being from the south where a cold winter may be 28 degrees and if it snows the world stops… I’m in awe of your winter camp-outs. You make being in the cold look so effortless.
I'm always nervous sleeping on ice but I wasn't going to leave you there alone. That fish you fried up looked so good, perfect colour even. Those little booster packs are a Godsend. I'm glad you had it. You will need to trickle your battery over night to bring it up to full again. Alternators maintain voltage but they don't gain very well. There is also a solar panel charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter hole marked battery. Put it on the dash and it puts out 17 volts at about 2 amps to bring you back up to full. Good video. Peace.
I'll never forget the first time I experienced it. I was 13. With my grandpa. He drove a big diesel 4 door Cummins with a camper in the back bed and we were pulling a trailer with 2 snow mobiles. He went off the main road and was headed right for the lake, I asked "what are you doing"? He said were going on the lake. I held on for dear life expecting to go straight under the ice. The further we got towards the middle I knew there was no turning back. Turned out to be an awesome experience and one that ill never forget. It is scary though. But that ice is thick. Thicker then any over the road bridge you drive on everyday.
@@cowbway8462 Maybe not. The remote base could have a tracker that allows the drone to follow. So you wouldn't need to have hands on control for a short period.
