But I’m saying as a viewer of the channel I enjoy the content with Dano a lot more than the content with Murray. Of course they are equal as people they both are valuable beautiful human beings. Is it shitting on someone else to say I like one person over the other? I’m sure you also have had people in your life that you would rather spend your free time with as opposed to others. 100% on board with others here that more of Dan would be a good thing. He is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, doesn't try to steal the spotlight, helps get some great camera shots, and works hard every time. Seems like the perfect friend you would want out on the ice with you.

I've never been a fisherman nor have i ever wanted to be exposed to that much cold weather for so long but videos like this make me think i'm missing out on something special!

Went ice fishing for the first time last winter in -7 degree weather. Had a blast!!

2 things....Mr Dan is one of the best fishermen on RUclips and doesn't even have his own channel lol. And #2 people that talk smack about hunters and fishermen that we don't care about wildlife and that catch and release fish will die, they're just dumb. Us hunters and fishermen care waaaay more about the sustainability and future of fish and wildlife. More waaay more then anyone else, no question. We spend millions if not billions of dollars every year that much of which goes straight to habitat and keeping these animals thriving!! Yes we do kill or harvest some fish and wildlife but we absolutely do not want to wipe out or harm the places we cherish and love more than anywhere else in our lives!!!

With all the crap going on in the world, I look forward to each one of Mav's videos. They bring out the good in people and the fun one can have in life. The last time I went ice fishing was back in the mid 80s. I took my three daughters out and they had a blast! I'll have to get my gear down from the garage and get to it this winter. Some time soon. Given the location it seems like he keeps it for protection. I'm ignorant of the area, are wolves an issue up there? Given his tossing of the fish carcass on the ice, I'd assume no.
I've started keeping a higher capacity 9 when hunting for the damned coyotes and hogs. You never know if they are going to get stupid after dark.

Hey I'm just south of Atlanta in Hampton right behind the Atlanta motor speedway. I enjoy watching mav and all his awesome adventures. And I can agree they can keep that winter up there. Our 30's is plenty cold enough for me. I do kinda of the same thing some weekends. But it's a 37 foot camper on 400 acres in the middle of now where down in Talbot county. But at the same time if it gets too cold I just turn the thermostat up a little or turn the air down. I've gotten soft the older I've gotten

Multiple times during tournaments I've fished over the years, I witnessed fish pass hooks totally through their systems. One time in particular, a barbed hook was half way out a fishes a** when we caught it, with the barb and most the hook still inside it. We were planning on dealing with it at the end of the day. Come weigh in time and we bagged all or fish, the hook was laying at the bottom of the livewell.

That was pretty sweet MAV! I’ve never been ice fishing because it just doesn’t get that cold in Oklahoma for ice fishing. That meal looked amazing and meals always taste better outside fishing or camping. Stay safe and see ya on your next adventure!
