  • I think the cartwheel is a super useful movement to learn, not only for gymnasts and acrobats, but for anyone with interest in the physical arts.
In this video I discuss 4 ways to improve the cartwheel after you learn the movement:
    -Flexibility
    -Falling Momentum
    -Rhythm
    -Absorption

I don't have any contacts in Hawaii, but if you know a studio who might be interested in hosting and if there are people interested in the workshop then I would be happy to make the trip

@@yurimar You are the MAN! I will check around. I am on the Big Island and it is sparse. Might be better on Maui or Oahu. Have to wait until the travel quarantine is done though. I will keep my eyes on the prize until then and let you know.

Do you have any tips on being ambidextrous in cartwheels?

Excellent videos Yuri ! I am thinking of buying a 2-inch mat (description says it can be used for Judo) but I can see that you are using thinner mats. Are thinner mats better for cartwheel ?

For basic cartwheels it shouldn’t really matter the mass as long as you know how to distribute your weight correctly.
The mats in this video are 1.5 inch. I think it’s a pretty good thickness for basic acrobatics work

What about "ultimate delt release" video?
My delts are sore. Not so much from planche/HS pushups work, but more from guitar playing (left shoulder)
