Never fails! As soon as you hook something decent, people crowd around you! People have no etiquette anymore! I was on a charter boat once; I caught a small flounder, and while I was unhooking fish, some jerk runs over and takes my spot (I foolishly moved off the rail). He caught the largest flounder from 'my' spot and won the largest fish pool! First time I almost came to throwing someone overboard!

Headshake = shark or big fish. If it doesn't shake and just runs or sets there like ur hung up its a really big sting ray
You should go fish the little walking bridge right then going to drift wood beach I fish there all the time

You fish on pier much? Are the no see'ums bad up on there? They bad in the parking lot, will drive you insane and then some
I've only been on the pier a couple times but they didn't give me too much trouble there. Just on the beach.
