*panicked Minagho noises*
"WHAT!? What is that... Power?"
The awesome part? This is *your* boss music.
One of the few CRPGS where YOU ARE THE BOSS
Just bring it, Minahgo!!
Underrated coment
Hahaha, thats so true.
YOU BECOME THE BOSS, i was so excited when i receive my first mythic level and the enemies just go boom
*Mythical Power starts playing*
Minagho: *Laughter stops*
Boss: "Why do I hear boss music?"
Player: *Laughter begins*
@@Arcantropolo
Haha, in this game YOU are the boss. :-D
Minagho: Crying begins
1:12
All of a sudden, you are aware of your own powers. You are no longer a grain of sand resisting the countless armies of the Abyss. You are something greater.
Minahgo getting 3 different debuffs to show her losing her shit after you pull a ton of new power out of seemingly nothing was such a genius move.
Don't forget the narration that totally sells it, Minahgo realizing that she is about to taste some mythic damage.
@@TricksterPoioh I loved her voice actress and how nicely she portrayed Minagho's fall from "superior and arrogant seductress" to "panicked Stressball" and finally "angry woman"
When the BBEG faces you- and YOU get the second health bar.
Fast healing 10. +5 BAB, hasted×2. 100% forte, DR 10/-, resist 20 all, SR bypass; CR 60. Oh yeah, and have an AoE alpha strikes and crits too.
YOU FEEL LIKE A TITAN LOOKING DOWN AN ANT
Quite literally. All my characters had the last stand. And Daeran the healing machine would fill our health bars every turn
This track really captures the feeling of suddenly being able to smack around a creature that has 20 levels on you.
That’s not quite how Mythic works but I llike your spirit!
@@reeven1721 SPOILER WARNING:
They were referencing a specific moment in the game.
Saved on this particular moment...this game is going to be glorious.
@@michaelwillis5432 Ah, I get which bit it is. Played it back with pens and paper.
@@michaelwillis5432 That moment was awesome! The same moment where Anime protagonist lost then he stand up while the anime badass theme play.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's gaming time.
"The Demoness looks formidable with her entourage around her, but her threats ring hollow to you now. You look at her and feel like a titan gazing down at an ant. Overwhelming, all-conquering power fills you. What, that little demoness? Those irritating hordes of the Abyss? The gods themselves are your only equals now."
What made this part so satisfying was how hard Kenebres, especially the citatel had been up until that point. I was running on fumes the entire time, and that was what made getting that power-up and mega-nuking the demons that had been giving me so much trouble up until that point so satisfying.
God yes, the sudden change from underdog to overpowering was such a rush, especially the first time through but every time it still hits that note
When boss music ringing. And YOU ARE THE BOSS.
@@Keated It fits like a certain OP main characters, except we started from the dirt until the power up decided to say hello.
Like, I'm thinking about how, when i was going through the Grey Garrison, I was being careful with my spells, because I figured that the game was Sandbagging.
I didn't expect to suddenly be able to just dunk on Minahgo
The most ridiculously badass level up sound in gaming history
I doublt Baldur's Gate 3 will have any soundtrack matching that one.
this game is such a huge improvement on kingmaker which was already amazing
It's like going Super Sayan.
@@MsSharondenadel And it shouldn't, as an cheap attempt to rip of a glorious saga.
Oh really? So a game that’s been in development for almost 5 years, has the personal blessing of the makers of DND and is currently eating up the resources of an entire development studio that happened to make some of the best RPG games in recent memory is cheap now?
Please get over yourself. Not taking anything away from Owlcat- the work they put in is phenomenal. Pathfinder wrath is easily up there as one of the best RPGs of our time and is a big reason why the Genre is in the best spot it’s been for a long long while.
But that has nothing to do with the amazing work Larian is also putting in Baldurs Gate 3, which looks phenomenal even with just early access being on display.
There is no reason to shoot down one developer to prop up another. I mean fuck I would even imagine that owlcat and Larian probably cooperate on some level- there can be more then one transformative RPG and even if two studios release great games in the same genre does not mean that they, and by extension their fans, have to be in conflict with one or the other.
If you're experiencing the following symptoms: chills, unintended idiotic smile, water in the eyes, sensations of being capable of everything...
Do not worry, it's perfectly normal.
I've read your comment in Nenio 's voice
@@Envy4you god
.. I can't unhear it now
"MY SKIN IS SO FUCKING SMOOTH!"
Pathfinder: WotR has the most epic power trip among all RPG I've ever played. The sheer power you control... it's exhilirating.
yea , they managed to recreate the feeling that high level mages in baldur's gate 2/tob gave me. The absolute bullshit u can pull....
Yeah, it was quite something, even Baldur's Gate 3 felt "meh" for me in this regard, WotR is much more grandiose somehow.
the greatest power of all is when you give up most of said powers, to become Mega Ultra Mortal. the Legend theme is more powerful than anything.
When you exploded with mythical power and Nulkineth was on the ground screaming and cursing Minaghos name. Such an awesome moment.
not as cool as when I (on evil playthru) embraced the swarm and devoured everyone in the city with locusts as this theme plays during your transformation into your final form as well.
@@arcanumelite4853 Not as cool as when a drunkard "king" rode in on a huge pig, leading a gaggle of barely coherent clowns he calls his court, and the army of demons cornering a group of crusaders laughed so hard they literally died and exploded.
@@lmao_nope ok.. now that is just hilarious... trickster i imagine? lol
@@lmao_nope well its most trollish among all mythic paths in game.
watching Minagho horrified after taunting you in your first encounter with her made this satisfying
What I really like about the piece is the duality of it. If feels like it would work for both a character who has chosen a “good” mythical power and also “evil” mythical power.
Perfect summary. Totally agree
Yes ! The first musical trend has definitelly an angelic theme to it with the choirs and then the second part conveys a more sinister/greedy tone with the brasses.
It's more on the payback time with mythical power than justice or bloodlust. With a bit of "damn, what's this power? What will I become". So it's good for all alignment yes.
Neither good or bad, just raw Power!
Exactly it works perfectly for either a mythic villain or hero, but in my head canon this is the mythic Legend song...
1:08 in particular is just so good. It just feels like you are standing up to a god on equal footing and a titanic fight is about to go down.
You cant see but the Camera guy is actually levitating and glowing
YOU FEEL LIKE A TITAN LOOKING AT AN ANT
An ant you have to keep stomping. She does *eventually* take a hint though
thats how it will feel in game as well
Deskari be like: O_O
Only the gods are your equal now.
Can't wait for that particular boss battle.
When this song came on at the end of act 1 I CRANKED that volume up. What a banger, the feeling of this track is literally perfect for where it was used.
When you first get your mythic path on the wall of Drezen...this music...the companion's dialogue...the epicness of the cutscene
Sends shivers down my spine
I have had a REALLY hard time not picking Azata after my first playthrough, because of Arueshalae's reactions.....
@@warcrimescostextra3992 Azata is easily the best path in all honesty game experience wise lol...

Were you also mean to Ember?
Jeez, the moment this starts playing and after hours of barely scraping your way through fights you just annihilate the enemy... that's not an easy feeling to recreate, such a perfect moment of gaming, and this music just *makes* it.
I've put 50 hours into the game so far, and one thing that really sticks with me is the soundtrack. All contributers and composers have done an outstanding job. Please release it officially somewhere to listen to!
It's available as extras on the different platforms (e.g. GOG).
@@Kai-tn4yx yeah I pre-ordered on steam, which included in game items but not the soundtrack :( edit: to which i could upgrade to the commander package on steam which includes the artbook and digital ost. thanks!

Музыка в Гневе вообше отвал башки, особенно мне нравятся темы мифических путей.
Совокоты давно получили мою вечную поддержку, буду покупать все что у них не приколочено
The ability of humans to be able to tease out the depth of human emotion with mere sound should never be underestimated. Owlcat dig a bang up job getting this soundtrack set up for this game. It's amazing.
That one rare moment where you will permit yourself an evil response to Minagho as a law good paladin. ;)
when you leveled up with this sound, you actually feel like getting more stronger and dangerous.
good job to owlcat as it captures how dangerous player can be when they leveled up
May we revisit this piece with all the epic memories of the game.
More like the mythic memories
i played the beta and trust me, this music will do it's scenes justice
Seconded!
Pathfinder doesn't do a whole lot with epic.
Hi there.
Also, HELL YEAH!
God dammit. Everytime I listen to this track I get unreasonably emotional. It's just that powerful and I don't know why.
Every instance this track played in game filled me with awe. Haven't finished yet but I already know that the final boss is going to be legendary.
I replayed the first fight this song came on a few times not only to try out different choices but just to listen O:)
yes it pops up other places, but having it at that moment was just noice :D
She promises.
She was a total blast indeed.
Spoilers:
I felt no more badass feeling than going through the tough ass dungeon in Drezen, getting the Sword of Valor, barely living through it all, then being awarded with mythic 3 with this music and choosing my mythic path.
The regular final boss is okay, but the TRUE final boss is truly epic
Both Deskari and Baphometh at the same time, with Areelu Vorleesh at your side. Different music than this, sadly
the demons started to get real fuckin quiet when the level 11 lich started casting level 9 spells
Yeah, one of the rare games, that allow you to feel yourself as allpowerfull undead being, that can call itself as death incarnate.
"I will drag your hide across the width of Kenabres."
by far the best moment in the game when this track plays - unbelievably epic. Owlcat has their problems but they indeed have their moments too - this was pure genius.
By the gods. When this track played....chills...it is PERFECT. I just stayed in the meny for a good long while listening to it. I couldnt choose :D
Same. Everytime it plays its just instant chills.
These men and women have no idea how many gamer souls ascended on the wings of this music
_All traces of Minagho's bravado have vanished, and her voice trembles with panic._ "How are you doing this? Where is your power coming from!?"
Seeing a smug villain shit their pants as their "certain" victory collapses in front of their eyes is *always* satisfying.
Much of the roleplaying lore describes the Abyss as seemingly infinite if not actually infinite. What a tune to listen to as you defy infinity!
So, I got to THAT scene, and yes, I felt like I was definitely defying the infinite. This game will be eating my soul for sure.
When i heard this for the first time i was just stunning. And the first time in my live i realize how immportant is music in the game, it was simply amazing.
Man this song led to one of my fav gamming moments in my adult life.
"I AM THE COMMANDER OF THE FIFTH CRUSADE" this song fits perfectly with the legend path
I agree. You're basically saying "I don't need the power of angels, demons, liches or dragons. I am a mortal with my own skills, power and ability, and that's enough to crush you"
What's more inspiring? When an Angel strikes down a dark god, or when a mortal does it?
@@jachinnelson5786
I think it’s inspiring to see an Angel do it in the context that they’re literally disagreeing with Heaven itself and coming to the aid of mortals. It reminds me of the willing Fall of Tyrael in Diablo.
Like, seeing an Angel disagree with Iomedae and seeing the Hand of the Inheritor/Targona/Lariel side with you instead of Iomedae is pretty deep, it shows that even in Heaven, there is disagreement when it comes to saving mortals, but there will always be those willing to help even if it will in totality cost them nothing by not helping.
For example, a mortal has everything to lose, they have self interest aswell.
Angels don’t. They can just stay in Heaven while the world burns, that’s why I think it’s inspiring to see them help.
@@AIexxxxx Ohh Absolutely. Seeing something like that would be incredibly inspiring. My only point is that supernatural creatures are expected to do supernatural things. A God slaying another God is just that. An Angel killing a demon is expected, even if difficult. But when a Mortal reaches and grabs the supernatural. They step from Mortality, and into Legend
@@jachinnelson5786
Yeah that’s true. It’s definitely inspiring for a different reason and is more impressive to witness than if an Angel did it.
When you hear this first time in the game is just amazing. One of the most memorable moment in my 20+ gaming years
You can say what you want about the Pathfinder games, but the efforts they put on soundtracks managed to capture and surpasse the epicness of the classics like Baldur's gate, Icewindale or Torment.
Nice work !
That's because the entire campaign is a lv1 to 20 + 10 mythic epic campaign, with possibility of letting you become a god.
Baldur's Gate 3 doesn't even want to have lv20 cap.
@@kitaisuru I was not just talking about the level cap. Btw that's weird with BG3 because in BG2 you could already reach level 20 in the main story, then go way beyond in the extention.
I was talking about everything in the game. For example in BG you could already have a keep of your own to farm some money, items and class quests, but in Pathfinder you get to have your own kingdom management. They kept the 6 memeber squad, wich is very important in term of combat gestion and organisation just like the classic rpg, but in BG3 you're limited to a 4 members ( i guess they couldn't evolve beyond their safe "divinity" model ). The music themes are epic, the landscapes are nice, most of the npcs you can play have a great character development etc.
I know i think like an old fart tied to older game fashion like +20 years old BG but like i said, Pathfinder games look way more like a Baldur's gate game than Baldur's gate 3 itself.
When this started playing with the Powersurge fighting against Minagho, that was so epic
Cant wait to face her again. Stuff needs settling.
Real talk: that was probably the best boss fight in gaming history, and every time I replay it, I still have goosebumps the whole fight, and it still makes me grin, ear-to-ear, every time one of my characters procs that lightning hit :)
Nothing in any game has ever made me feel that much like a badass....
@@warcrimescostextra3992 It is truly amazing how much some text and an amazing soundtrack can achieve. I have played many games, and indeed, nothing felt as amazing and heroic then that Minagho fight.
Look at me, I'm the boss now
The first time I heard this track ingame, it really got my blood boiling from the sheer epicness!
I just heard this in game for the first time, and the chills and goosebumps it gave me are a very, very happy memory. The battle that followed definitely fit this track to a T.
Made a save on every playthrough before this moment just so I can go back and enjoy it over and over again...they hit the homerun with this game.
Everytime I hear this it makes me want to do an angel play through
same
This + the amazing voice acting of Minagho shitting herself on more than one occasion is just awesome fuel.
Chill beats to bully Minagho to.
Still giving me the ultra goosebumps
I get chills for every scene this song plays in. This game has some of the most epic moments I've seen in a d20 based game, and this song sure as hell helps!
oh yea it's Mythic time! time to Mythic all those demons !
Сочетание этой эпической музыки и ситуации в игре просто идеальное! Глубочайший поклон и уважение всем кто работал над игрой!
THIS
In most D&D based RPG's, you enter epic character levels and it's mostly another level up with very little significance. You break the limits a mortal is suposed to have and the game barely recognizes it.
Then you play WOTR and enter Mythic rank... THIS is how you do it.
My god this song, in combination with some of the most brilliantly challenging and satisfying CRPG/tabletop-inspired gameplay ever put in a video game, has given me some of the most cathartic moments I've experienced in 30 years of gaming. The OST is a masterpiece. The game is a masterpiece. Fantastic work, and huge thank you to everyone involved!
Well honestly the gameplay can be a bit hit or miss. The sevond time this theme plays your fighting an enemy who is pretty much trivial but is played up as this huge threat while you are kicking his face in. At other times you can get absolutely wrecked out of nowhere. Like this ultra highlevel ghost that you can find in a some old village when you are lvl 4 that just constantly spams mass paralysis. If you fail your save you are dead and at this level you don't have access to the "freedom of movement" spell
Hearing this while discovering that your grease spell has 60+ dc... chills down the spine.
and of course you use it selective
@@reis3542 The school has nothing to do with if something "scales". The formula for the DC's of a spell save is the same. 10+ spell level + casting modifier + any feats/items/etc that are buffing it.
Я помню этот забавный момент. Я не мог победить Минаго в первом акте из за максимального уровня сложности, пока не решил бросить ей под ноги масло, после этого мы все валялись несколько минут. Это было максимально эффективно и максимально тупо xD
"Somewhere in the universe, a coin flip lands on its side
Somewhere in the universe, a drop of water saves a life.
Somewhere in the universe, a pebble stops a landslide.
Maybe it's because someone believed hard enough.
Maybe it's because everything is secretly fair.
Maybe it's because the universe is a vast place.
Yesterday I was very cold.
Yesterday I was very hungry.
Yesterday I wanted to run away.
Today I'm going to believe hard enough.
Today a pebble will stop a landslide.
Today I'm not going anywhere."
This game is the most ridiculous power fantasy, people actually recognize your power, I god damn love it
Tales of legendary creatures whose power drove from the divine itself, who faces challenge impossible by ordinary folks. They're called Mythic creatures!
Epic Score. I cannot wait to hear it in the game with all the character emotion attached to it.
POV: You are the Boss.
This is a boss theme, but YOU are the boss.
Одна из лучших, если не лучшая композиция в игре, первое ее появление в игре оставило множество положительных эмоций, так удачно она легла под Момент. Браво композитору и оркестру.
Just started playing this game, this surprised me in the end of the gray garrison. I’m on Act 2 now :3
Party wiped, down to last man fighting a Greater Demon Lord,
Get enough damage done to trigger a cutscene
This music starts playing
My beleaguered main character gains more mythic power
Fight continue with this music, and my new found powers
This is why I love this game!
Thank you... THANK YOU owlcat for delivering such EPIC D&D games!! TRUE OLD SCHOOL
Probably the most hype way you can convey your ascension
Make the boss hear YOUR boss music before the battle
I heard this song after interacting with the worldstone for the 2nd time, after that demon mocked me for saying I'm injured and wants to finish off my party that sudden power surge made me and everyone stronger that the demons got rip apart like paper.
She was so shocked that she lost her confidence and was like "What are you!? Where did you get this power?" really sells it
Demon: "Why do I hear boss music?"
Wrath of the Righteous has one of the most beautiful soundtracks I've ever heard in a game, period.
This song is just beautiful.
Its daring. The promise of something more, rising to a challenge. Never get tired of it.
When I heard this for the first time during the game it genuinely gave me chills. So good.
Господи!!! Как же это Прекрасно!!!
One of the best soundtracks.
Love this title, so much depth to everything.
Прям мурашки по коже. Шикарный саундтрек
Совокоты пишут шедевры, иначе не скажешь. Очень атмосферная музыка и спасибо Балтийскому симфоническому оркестру.
You really feel it in the game... Im on my 5th play-through already. Your game is a breathtaking inspiration of emotion and intrigue. Thank you so much for making it!!!
Man I wanna play it again hopefully when the stars are aligned and I can at last finish my unending pile of to do list.. 😮
Kenabres about to fall, its residence decimated left and right, The Demon Minagho about to fulfill her mission in destroying the last bastion of mortals, one last hope stand in their path. I got goosebumps when this theme started to play and the mythic power awaken our character, Lights retribution long overdue.
Never did finish this game so reinstalled to restart and clear before i got Baldur's Gate 3.
Once again I could not get this stupid smile off my face as I torn through demons at the wardstone. Still just as satisfying as the first time 😁
did you ever finish it? i've beaten it about 15 times now. lol.
This song brings a tear to my eye every time- just pure passion and raw, unbridled power

So glad I purchased the Vinyl OST
"At this moment... What do you feel?"

Really badass and it hits the right spot in the game💃🏻
The first instance where this plays ingame, you feel like such a fucking badass. You're outnumbered and outgunned, the villain GLOATS in your face, and you just go "super" mode and crush their hopes and dreams.

This is so amazing! Thank you!
Anger, confusion, FEAR; the last emotions felt by the demons, foolish enough to stand in the commander's way.
"But.. but you're just a mortal! How?! "The last words uttered by lords of darkness blinded by their arrogance.
"I AM a mortal, oh mighty demon lord, but it turns out, so are you." 😎
The reason why great games have great scores is because it inspires the team and brings the vision of a project into sharp focus.
I can easily imagine the Hand of the Inheritor conducting the angelical host while they play this every time the Knight Commander trashes a powerful demon.
Minagho : OK, this time I'll totally beat you!!!
