- Thanks to your support during the Kickstarter campaign, we were able to record a number of tracks for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous OST live with Baltic Symphony Orchestra. We hope you will love the way it sounds as much as we do!

Seeing a developer delivering on Kickstarter stretch goals makes me unreasonably emotional LOL
This tells the story of the whole game, from tragedy in the beginning with the choir, to a defiant pushback with the horns and a mustering of the drums, to early successes and challenges with the strings leading to great gains as the horns come back - with a moment of loss towards the end, building to triumph in spite of it as the horns and choir and strings go for broke.
I know that lady is smiling at the end because she can finally stop playing the basically the same four notes the whole song LOL. Been there, done that, as a viola player
Everytime I start the beta, I stay in the menu for a good while before I load up my game :)

Having streamed the Beta up till the cutoff at the end of Chapter 3, I can conclude that this game will be epic, Kingmaker is for me at the number two slot of crpg's right under BG2 (not sure anything will ever topple that tbh) the writing is fantastic, some of the characters are absolutely fantastic, when i first booted up the beta nd heard that opening theme, I got shivers down my spine, only the theme tune to Halo did that for me. The dev team for this game are some of the nicest folk I have interacted with and their passion for this game shines through in its execution, it literally oozes passion and commitment. they have taken the foundation of what Kingmaker is and solidified and built upon it. This is easily my most anticipated title since I saw alpha footage of Kingmaker being streamed. Keep up the great work Owlcat Games, we the community wait with bated breath. The question is, what avenue will everyone take to obtain that title of Mythic Character? personally...I think it's gotta be Lich right? and Wendu is the best companion, come fight me if you think differently!

When I watched the video about how the camera can freely rotate instead of being force in one isometric view you made me so happy. Can't wait to buy this game!
With some many old giant RPG studios become soulless corpo zombies it is refreshing to see that Owlcat is among some of the few good current game developers out there. They actually care about vidya and put their heart and soul into their work, can't wait for WotR to come out and spend many hours playing it just as I did with Kingmaker. 3.5 bois 4 lyfe. You slavs are alright in my book.
Curious does the theme song have a song title or is it just "theme song" a piece this amazing deserves an amazing name. :)

Kingmaker already had some really nice tunes but yea, I have no doubt Wrath will blow it ouf of the water, this was incredible :) Hats off to all involved.

PLEASE stop doing these weird super cuts and flybys, without regards for flow or timing please? people want to listen to the music, not get distracted by visuals
its supposed to complement the audio, not the other way around
The audio here is definitely not the live recording of the video
It almost never is when it comes to this niche. Even Eternal Ecplise, which tries a lot in that sense, isn't strictly just the live recording.
This feels new and yet somehow so familiar and close to Kingmaker - I can't help being overwhelmed with emotions.

Yes. If you watch the other video, they say they recorded the choir separately to reduce background noises (coughing, squeaking chair, etc)
Possible montage of a couple hours? Note early you can see the only the strings (woodshedding their bowings in a sectional?) where later you have the awesome and 100% prepared horns behind them.

Audio is out of synchronization with the video.
Sounds like the orchestra is stationary and in front of you while the camera is always off to the sides somewhere looking at the orchestra... resulting in positional dissonance between what you see and what you hear.

People commenting how much they loved this and I wonder what's wrong with me for finding it to be rather generic "fantasy music".
That's fine, it just means you're not a huge fan lol. Some people (myself included) love this kind of music. The instruments and voices give me chills
To me something sounds different about this fantasy music compared to the ones I’ve heard all my life as a fantasy gamer. I think this one must have some Russian (for lack of better word) inspiration instead of Celtic
