- Well this is what I have been working on, a Vertical Arcade system with a pedestal. It is on a full motion mount. I didn't want to spend to much on normal pedestal so I ended up getting this table. I wanted to be able to sit down and be able to relax my legs.....at my old age lol. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did doing this project, and as always....peace. This is a bit of an inspiration, I have several TV's around we are not using, been thinking about buying a cabinet but I could put something like this ( probably not vertical ) up on the cheap. I like do it yourself projects anyway.

I did same thing...i bought monitor swivel mount and put hole in my counter top bar....have curved samsung 32 inch monitor and hooked up nintendo switch to it....it rocks for namco arcade games and also star wars pinball....vertical is the way to play for sure!!

This is great. I'm going to be trying to build a vertical "wallcade" myself -- maybe with a PC and coinops vertical, but it's hard to beat the space savings of a Pi build. Thanks for sharing, really helpful for others trying to do something similar.

Nice build buddy this is probably your first design I just don’t understand the button layout I’ve never seen six buttons added in this fashion espionage your gonna lay fighting games if you gotta press 3 buttons at the same time it gonna be tough
It was basically for vertical games not fighting games since some games need 4 buttons is why the layout is the way it is. Thanks for checking out the video.
Very cool. I have almost exactly the same setup. Love playing pinball on it too. Question, on your MAME games I noticed yours stretch the whole screen. On mine they have black bars at top & bottom. Did you have to chg a setting to get that?

@@MadDadsGaming ahh ok gotcha. I'm using mame stand-alone. I'm sure there's a way to do it.
@@PiperisCalling yes there is you can still change the resolution in mame though through the settings if needed.

Yeah was thinking about putting one but I don't play many trackball games. There is enough space for it though is why I picked the table. Thanks for the comment as well and for checking out the video.

What gaming build did you use for the raspberry PI

I'm always surprised to see kids run up to these things excited to play. I just imagine they would be like"What's up with these crappy ass graphics?! Give me my damn Xbox! 😡" Lol.
Its something new to them, but after awhile they went back to their playstation 4 lol

@@MadDadsGaming the image is stretched, these games do not fill the entire screen, the vertical arcade screens were smaller. just an opinion, but if you like it that is fine.
