Hiking the Narrows (June 2023)

We went opening weekend and it was very crowded but once you hike about 1.5 miles in (through the water) the crowd thins out significantly. By the time we reached about 2.5 miles in we saw 3 people.
Water temp was 52 degrees in late June so be sure and rent hiking socks and boots from Zion Adventure Co (and a hiking stick).
It was gorgeous and absolutely amazing and worth every bit of it.
The only thing I'd suggest is to make sure you do NOT have ankle, knee or hip issues if you're hiking this. The water currents as pretty rough in areas (and we actually had to swim in two places). Need to be in good enough shape for hiking small to large rocks for hours against the current.
