Awesome reaction/review video. Can't believe you haven't really listened to MH before. They are really a legendary band, and they have 60 or 70 more songs that are all as good as this album. I would highly recommend you listed to Burn My Eyes, The More Things Change, Through the Ashes of Empires, The Blackening, and Unto the Locust. All of those are certifiable classics with no skip tracks. Their other albums are also really, really good. The earlier albums are more straight to the point groove/thrash. The later ones really incorporate the more progressive song structures, and wild lead guitar playing. Ashes is more of a transition album, but one where they really started growing their sound into modern Machine Head. The Burning Red, Catharsis and Supercharger are more divisive albums as they experiment alot and aren't afraid to try new styles/genres with their signature sound stamped on it. I also chucked when you said you didn't expect a breakdown. MH is the kings of the metal breakdown and typically incorporate their signature pinch harmonics for those little squeals. Their catalog is DEEP dude.

I'm to No Gods, No Masters, I'm interested to see your reaction to the breakdown on this song. My wife and I got to see them a few weeks ago, got the VIP meet and greet and everything, but there's something about that show I'll never forget, we took a friend of ours, he was suffering from stage 4 liver failure and had never even heard of Machine Head, he died three days later, but the last five days of his life were absolutely epic.
You should look at The Blackening by Machine Head, They're a very polarizing band, you either love them or hate them, but I don't care who you are, if your heart is rooted in the metal community, The Blackening is right up there with albums like Reign in Blood, Master of Puppets, Vulgar Display of Power, it's an absolute Masterpiece. I'm excited to see some Trivium reactions as well
That first track, Slaughter, is gonna be a machine head classic.
Damn I can’t believe machine head released a new album. You should check out The Blackening as I think it’s their best work.
Best album since the blackening!
I think the album is badass. Probably my favorite by them. 🤘🏻
Pretty good album, if you want to see them at their best checkout The Blackening, one of the best metal albums ever imo
The blackening is the best album they have ever written imo! But I definitely love this new one. Very old school machine head!
Absolutely love Kill Thy Enemies. So damn good.
One of my favorite songs on the album 🤘🏻
