Had the chance to hear them in person and they were some of my favorite speakers I have heard. They definitely have a sound to them that is worth hearing for yourself! Very different sound profile compared to b&w or focal. Seem to be on the neutral side with decent bass depth and zero ear fatigue, while having an interesting depth to their soundstage and imaging. Would put these speakers more in the fun category as far as listening to speakers goes. One of those speakers that has you rediscovering your favorite songs.
The funny thing about certain Dalis are they measure more linear at 15-20 degrees instead of 30 degrees. Most of my speakers are not toed in (or minimally toed in) and compensated with bumping up the highs provided there are no suckouts in the mids when listening to them off axis. I am really interested in getting a Dali that measures really linear at 30 degrees.
Got a pair of oberon 7's. They're the dogs gonads. Taken ages to wear in so most reviews don't reveal the truth. Brilliant Brilliant speakers. P*** all over fine audio 501's and q acoustics.
I have liked how kef q or reference speakers have sounded for prog rock. Ribbon tweeters aren't the best for it as it makes it sound boring. I'm a huge opeth fan.
i see lots of plastic and exposed screws everywhere, even in the ports in the back lol, look super cheaply made compared to others at less than half the cost
I love their depth of the towers .. That's really nice.
Stunning! I’ve been really impressed with the Dali speakers I’ve listened to at Simply Stereo.
I like anything that basically has an array. Like Soldiers. Not just a sniper but the whole platoon.
Very enjoyable and refreshing demo!
Great review! Impressive NAD comments too. And Jason is just glowing...literally!
these look great
Another amazing review🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤ These speakers look gorgeous

@@imtheboctilian agreed and so much better when Dirac was turned off and you just heard the speakers by themselves, IMO.
I live in an apartment with limited room.
If any manufacturer could go back to front ports like on my Ikon 6 MKII's, that'd be great.
Whaferdale ahora tiene los puertos con disparo hacia abajo, y se pueden arrimar más a las paredes.
Great review!
I love the DALI's I still use my Helicons!

Gene, can you do a video of the pros and cons of using a phantom center, when and when not to
The maroon color does it look red in a regular room environment with windows? Or is it just when u film closely with camera lights?
Are there no comb filtering issues from both tweeters sharing freq?
Dali makes some good speakers
@Nightjar726 No, the ribbon tweeter operates at HF only
@@Audioholics oh, so the dome is doing higher mid duties then I suppose.
@@Nightjar726 correct. The Ribbon kicks in above 10khz.
@@Audioholics oh wow. Cool design as ribbons have good dispersion above 10k
Your are the best
No u
The Rubikore 2 is about 2300 USD excluding tax retail in sweden
I wonder how these Rubikores sound comparing with Epicons
Hmm. Did I hear 12000 USD retail in the US? the Rubikore 8 cost about 6300 USD retail in Sweden excluding tax
How do they sound w prog rock 🪨
Kansas, Opeth, ELP 🌴 and Yes 😊
@CarlVanDoren61 most prog rock isn't recorded very well, unfortunately. Genesis Selling England by the Pound remastered doesn't sound half bad tho.

Wow, thanks been waiting for this. Hope you get to review this at home, would love to hear how it compares to the Perlisten S7Ts.
@stampede8681 they won't play as loudly as the Perlisten S7t but definitely have more HF sparkle to them.
😮❤ no 💰 😢

Absolute ignoramus. Or just someone with an agenda. ;)
Too expensive speakers. The Rubicore 2 in my country is around 3000 us dollars and it's still too expensive.
