Bilal was the only Pakistani player in this tournament and he made the top 8. The day Pakistani players are able to resolve the visa issue, everyone else is gonna be done for.
@@fawadhussain3781 If people like you who promote themselves even if they interrupt the conversation represent the country, it will give a bad impression of Pakistan, so you should stop doing that.
@@actsofabundance9079 Maybe he's referring to Arslan, who was destroyed by Knee in a match outside the tournament? It's not very helpful, but I think it's interesting.
Japanese Players have always been Playmakers. They're willing to Duck the Lows, Mash, and go in when they have to. Previously due to the Top Tier Characters of 7 and the Lateral Movement being worse, Japanese Players being willing to Interact and affect the Game State made them lose big Sets against Top Players because they were doing too much. In 8, making the Play is rewarded. Some call it Offence, and while that's not untrue, It's more accurate to say that it's Playmaking which is rewarded in 8. Sidestep is better, Armour is better, Heat makes it to where you get 1 chance to dominate an interaction and the opponent can't do much about it, Counter-Hits still exist. I don't think this will be the last time a Japanese Player takes a big Event in this Game. In fact, I think they're just getting started.
Double was on fire the whole tournament and to see Jeondding with the reset and the respect after. Man, what a grand finals. That's some good-ass tekken.
Yah caught him off guard with the Reina pick and able to reset. And I think Double was able to adapt because he was coached on what to do against Reina

Korea has actually been the best in Tekken 8. But they're also sending a lot more players more frequently than any other nation. Japan sends fewer and fewer players over the years as Tekken loses popularity there. But 'm glad ZETA sponsored a great team, otherwise Double and Keisuke wouldn't have attended CEO and this, and Japan would have continued to be downplayed and ignored.
@@mazin9193That actually makes Japan make a better country than SK for me... Japan had less players but somehow won more tournament than SK this year is already makes me put Japan over SK... Meanwhile Pakistan also did impressive but the contestants from Pakistani is way too low
@@jkjkjkssb270 Japan won about 6 stacked tournaments with international/Korean presence this year, and while Keisuke couldn't win, he was the MVP to so many people and finally amassed the fanbase he deserves. Their performance has definitely been great. That said, even if we factor in the number of participants from Korea which put them at a significant advantage over Japan, let alone Pakistan, I think Korea remains overall the more consistent Tekken scene. Japan's Tekken players are getting old, and younger talents like Gen and Noroma are deleted/semi-retired. Meanwhile Korea has Ulsan and Mulgold leading the future of Korea and are already arguably Korea's best. Pakistan continues to get dominated by the nasty visa matchup.
Korea has more players in the top 8s, but Japan has one more major win (Evo jp, DH Dallas, Mixup) vs (Super Tournament, DH Summer). It's close, but I'd say Korea has been doing better and overall. Just look who is in the EWC, there is more than twice as many Koreans to Japanese.

Jeondding got robbed by the much nerfed Eddy. Many of his classic moves are either weakened or removed in Tekken 8, making Eddy super predictable (very limited mix up options) and easy to punish. Jeondding is the master of Eddy, but limited by Eddy’s capability.

It's not dumb at all double elimination means everyone has to lose twice to be eliminated from the tournament, everyone getting a second chance except the player on winner side is both dumb and unfair.
You must be new to tournaments otherwise your comment is incredibly dumb. All players get two lives so why wouldn't Double? Not to mention Double was the player who put Jeondding in losers, beating him 3-0.
Jeondding is a great guy.

I play only Law. I am fan thanks for this ♥️
Jeondding the greatest guy
can someone explain to me what is grand final reset?
pretty sure the guy who wins losers' bracket gets to fight winners' bracket, but the losers' bracket has to win an extra set before things are considered even, THAT is the reset
the player who reached the grand finals thru the losers bracket has to win two sets to win the tournament. the other player only has to win one
Basically the player in losers has to double eliminate the player in winners to win the tournament.
