    OK I am Latvian and know we dont have them that far north we have plenty of smaller Kirzakas but this is amazing! Will look up but what is their total geographical range and how far north? Any suggestions for more info vids on them? Thank you.

    I’m thinking about getting one and I have a bearded dragon and they can grow up to 24 inches but I didn’t know jewelleds grow up to 35inches !? Amazing Video definitely subbing!

      We already keep and breed many sand lizards! 🦎 They are one of our favourite lacertids.

      @@CelticRewilding here in greece where I live, there are many Balkan lizards Lacerta trileneata, Wall lizards Podarchis muralis and many more. My favourite 2 species, are Sand lizards, Balkan lizards and of course Timon lepidus witch is native to france and spain. My favorite amphibian, is the european tree frog Hyla arborea and the european green toad Bufotes viridis. Whitch amphibian is your favorite?

    Hey i know I'm pretty late but where can you find the jeweled lacerta in the wild (countries)?

      If I remember correctly they are from Portugal, Spain, France and extreme North West Italy.

      It is a contributing factor to the species decline - luckily the trapping of lizards is banned!
