Our beautiful Guyanese mum used to make this dish with pigtails and split peas in the UK which was always a treat for our Guyanese dad, my sister and brothers born in the UK. Stay blessed🙏🏾

Looks very delicious, growing up in Guyana my mom use to make cook up at least once a week and she always put two kinds of meats. Miss her cooking

You are so right about the slap chip. I have had one for years. Attempted to give it away a few times. Then I decided to use it to make cauliflower rice. Oh man was I happy no one accepted it. It is a hidden gem.
Thank you for a another great video.

I get it at my Local supermarket. It's usually where you find the salted meats such as ham.
