Is there any reason you chose not to group and slightly distort the layers together afterwards? I see this advice pretty often. Or was it just out of scope for this video?
You can lose the fundamental if you distort it too much
@@aduken762 That's what a dry/wet knob is for though
Tiny bit of saturation to glue and hard clipping for loudness
if it sounds good it sounds good, but I often group all of the drums and compress and or clip them :)
