For what it's worth, I got fat during covid and now I hate my dancing too! But I'm old and been through this before. Here's my advice: 1. Buy a cute dancing outfit or two that fits you right now, at this very size you are now. 2. Be humble, be curious, trust the process. You'll get your body back over time if you keep dancing. 3. Focus less on being a great dancer, focus more on being fun to dance with. Appreciate the people you're dancing with. Dance with beginners. Be kind 😊
You may have some videos on this already, but I would love to see some videos on just a bunch of variations of six count, basic eight count basic and Charleston basic.
I've been learning lindy hop for few months now... i think i need to build the muscle to control my movements. For example, when doing a swing out, i feel like whipped too fast, and it doesn't look good. How do you practice to control these body movements? Which exercises do i need to do to build the core muscle for it? Anyway, i really enjoy your videos! Thank you!!!
