i think it had to do with some people asking for the rights to use the footage and some just using it that they said noone could use it. but no matter what it was the benefits for the whole sport are obvious if they let people use the footage.

I’ve only been climbing and following professionals for about a year, but that mantle at 5:34 was absolutely insane. The flexibility and strength together is incredible to watch. Great job Adam!
Lorenzo Federico Signorini you’re absolutely right! When I watch top level climbers, it’s so easy to forget how extraordinarily above average their hip and hamstring flexibility is! I also like when the cameras show a top down perspective occasionally to remind us how razor thin those seemingly “good” holds really are.
Adam, you are just phenomenal! It was honor to meet you live this weekend in Teplice, it was just fun event for you, but still, it was amazing to see your passion for climbing and that you are really nice and modest guy, the same one we enjoy in these vlogs. You watched him knowing you were watching the best in the world and that likely we will wait a very long time to see someone with a gift like his, and that’s exactly what you feel when you watch Adam climb. Truly beautiful and inspirational
He is great and overall probably a little bit better than his competition but at the same time guys like Schubert and Migos can and do beat him sometimes so it's not that big of a difference...

And the part about it being a world cup when there were only Europeans was another issue I was pondering about as well. Glad to see him speaking up for the athletes who missed this event!
He's 100% right. Opening this event to the public is already questionable but it looks like they didn't even had the means to implement social distancing and remove those who didn't wear a mask. The french are not culturally obedient and these behaviors were highly predictable. Really irresponsible from the organizers.

I just saw that Sam and Leo Avezou were ranked pretty good, it's nice to see the sons of a champion to perform too ! I was surprised to see this name, I did not know they were climbing. After the Mawem brothers the Avezou brothers, that's a lot of french brothers good at climbing.
