Slide Blocks on Roller Skates , do you need them ?

hello my bby karrots! in today's video i talk with different skaters about slide blocks! A question i have received before was, do i really need slide blocks to skate at the skatepark? The answer varies with each skater but i personally like not having blocks sometimes! make sure to watch the whole video and watch the different things you can do with or without slider blocks ❤️

I never was confident enough to drop in without blocks. I was already terrified WITH them... however I do believe it would be nice to not have all that extra weight on the skates!

I'm always frustrated with "beginner drop-in tutorials" and they have blocks of some kind on their setup, then on the other hand they're like: "you don't need blocks to drop in" I'm like well b*tch f*ck*ng show us then!? I'm sure it doesn't come to mind but it pisses me off. That's why I really enjoyed seeing this video bc it shows both methods. Also the (unintentional) shade at the end had me like: oop. love to see it. As someone who's a bigger male skater with big ass man feet you don't really see bigger tall people skating in media hence why I thought buying blocks would make it easier (which in reality actually makes it harder high key). Really enjoy your videos and I love watching you skate! 💅💅

I've been looking up slide blocks and people say you need them if you want to slide, that's one reason I want to get some. Maybe a future video of your fave block and least liked block.
Also hard to find info with people small feet/size 4 boot and what slide blocks are compatible.

Definitely need the blocks to do all the coool slide tricks but you can still learn so much with out them 🫶🏽✨

I was in a hurry at competition and loosely tied myskates. The elements are much harder. So make sure you actually tie ten them. By the way what's wrong with puppy?
