She’s right! But it doesn’t only work with radishes. Most vegetables that are grown underground you can keep them fresh for a long time if you wrap them in a damp paper towel in a container or zip lock.
Bulb vegetables like carrots, beets, kohlrabi, radishes.. etc can last longer. Because they love water.
Every winter when I grow carrots and beets and radishes that’s what I do. And they last me a really long time. They stay hard and fresh. 😊

i really like how you give a well rounded look at the benefits for all foods. i am keto carnivore mostly and feel great but i still have veggies and fruits sometimes. i think with the low carb kick a lot of people demonize veggies and go to one end of the extreme swiftly when new science comes out to support one end of the spectrum.

If it can be pickled I’m a fan! I’m actually going to the family farm in a couple weeks to spend a weekend making traditional dill pickles with my sister in law. It was my mom’s recipe and though she is sadly gone too soon, we will take up the task of pickle making. But I’m definitely going to try pickling radishes too. Love them!

@@JenniferMyers Hi, Jennifer, I watched one of your videos last year where you talk about beauty that comes from within and that is with mental peace(meditation) and the food that we eat.
And I swear, it keeps flashing my mind with just everything I consume and I remember that EVERYTIME I purchase something to eat.
I cut down on sugar and following your tips with Tretinoin that I've been following - My skin is glowing !!!
Thank You for being an inspiration. I was grieving my Moms passing away but your videos have helped me a lot to calm my mind and embrace positivity and love myself.
      Best wishes from India 🇮🇳
You're a rockstar and I'm glad you got out of Covid too, I got out of Covid two months back, I have some lung damage but I'm going to get back with normalcy again.
I can't Thank You enough. I feel like you're an elder sister I wished I always had.
I'll be 31 in less than a month's time and I'm feeling so much better while most men my age are riddled with stress, pessimistic thoughts and inflammaging.

The grief of losing a mother is forever. We should start embracing the fact that a mortal body has to go someday, we would too but it's the values, the morals, the principles, the love, it just gives us the courage to life further.

We eat whatever was giving at the table with no complaints, and radishes and pickle pigs feet were one of our menu meals and I thought it was not good because we had it a lot ,it was all sometimes my parents could afford , but to think of it and watching your food menu videos and all that you recommend , I was eating good stuff that gave me vitamin C and great stuff for my skin ,who would have known ! I’m a young looking 60 year old and offended get mistaken for 40 , so thanks mom for all the stuff I didn’t like! but ate 🤣.

Red radishes are a beautiful vegetable! They look like rich crimson-colored stones lol

    Hi Jennifer
How long do they last? Do you leave them at room temperature or store them in the fridge?
Love your channel, I like that you are very simplistic, you show us how life is on a regular basis as well as the importance of keeping your body and mind healthy 🧡

Thank you! I store them in the fridge after they cool down. I consume them daily, so they don't get a chance to spoil, generally speaking, they're going to stay fresh for about 2-2.5 months (mine never last that long lol).
