I had a nightmare last week in race B at brands. Monday and Tuesday I'm sure the other drivers thought they were playing wreckfest! Keep it up, enjoying the content 👍👌
On a different track i would recommend that car but for this circuit i went with the SF-r Concept and i was glad i did as the guys....5 of them S and A+ who qualified ahead all had some weird incidents on early laps all crashing under braking or veering off track
I have a question. Is the next Manufacturer race mandatory or can you just go Medium all the way?

Hey I'm the Frenchman around 12:00 min. This Bruno is a complete dirt bag as you said, he bumped 5 of us out of the track several times along the race.
Those dirty Momoz'like drivers are spoiling the game.

If the guy passing me has his front wheels level with my rear wheels, that's it, he's got the right to the lane. Do that, and almost all this conflict can be avoided.
The opposite is that if you're passing, then you need to be on the inside, because the outside is where you'll get bumped off the track.
On the inside outside passes, where the guy dives bomb you you gotta punish the guy by getting alongside him on the inside, and forcing him to either back off the gravel or end up off the track. Sometimes fast passing a guy or dives bombs you isn't the best thing. You gotta make him lose an extra place.
Finally, often you aren't the faster than the guy behind you. Accept it, and don't contest those spots, and make it easy for him to pass you, because by not fighting him you can often pass other cars who are fighting.
Your first mistake was trying to go through Bruno's outside after seeing what he does to people on his outside. But that's a proper dirty lobby, need to take a shower after watching this filth.

Honestly if I saw Bruno doing the aggressive moves he was doing for multiple laps, there is no way I would've attempted an overtake on him around the outside
It looks like Yautard did EXACTLY what I would have done at 12 mins 15 seconds. After Bruno showed that level of disrespect, I would have went on his inside the same as Yautard and made it look like he cant brake without you pushing him off. Bruno should and would expect the aggression after being such an obvious fucker. Yautard mind gamed that perfectly, because he had every right to be upset enough to T-Bone kamikaze them both out of that corner, but instead just gave Bruno a taste of his own medicine.

Compared to the SR rated B, A, S drivers in the "lower lobbies" (DR D, C and B) your race was as clean as it gets :). I'm a happy camper every time I get a race as considerate as the one you showed here :). Good times ahead as it seems. I just need to be patient and endure the ups and downs in DR at the beginning. ;). I do agree though that the way time penalties are awarded needs to be more transparent, as I too often don't understand when drivers get or don't get one... (example: receiving a penalty for hitting a wall after you've been punted off the track seems a little harsh ;)). Anyone out there who could shed some light on the issue?
I find road car lobbies tend to be dirtier as a rule, probably due to the longer breaking zones. Whilst Bruno was definitely in the wrong, you probably should have been wary about going round the outside having seen him do exactly the same to another driver a couple of laps earlier. I reckon Smirnof must have thought he was past you, rather than it being intentionally malicious. Lack of awareness yes, stupid yes, but not intentional.
The camera angle is very good, like it. Maybe lose the foot cam when you’re not using the clutch. Maybe foot cam is just a thing now, everyone seems to have added it.....?

I enjoy all your content, but this is why I prefer your iRacing exploits. I like the fact that in iRacing there are consequences for poor driving, and ultimately your respectful driving style should prosper in that environment. Whereas in this game it seems that others can take advantage.

Some don't know how to race, they think its ok to bash through even when there is no space, i hate drivers like that. Barely any common sense, you were unlucky bro...your strategy was quiet brilliant. Just keep chugging along :-)
Yesterday I played online for the first time. It was fun but dam the amount of dirty drivers is ridiculous. I've been rammed more times off the track then I could imagine. I played 3 races and I'm proud to be a S type on sportsmanship even if those dirty drivers never gave me the opportunity to build on my driver rating. Just happy I didn't seek revenge, Anger management for real.
Does that steering controller actually send "realistic feedback"? Like being on the road, sliding, and etc?

Lmao that's the whole point. And this specific model is the best and most powerful, it costs 1000 euros. (not talking about the wheel itself but the motor that drives it)

I am surprised no one rammed Bruno off the track for that.
Unfortunately I'm finding (especially in Oceania) the higher splits you're in, the dirtier drivers are (I'm generalising obviously).
One publically well known case is Nik Makozi. His father races with him as well in the top splits, and both will regularly team up to run people off etc. in order for Nik to finish higher up.
Without stooping to the same level, I've had to learn to drive much more aggressively.
I now do much more league racing (W2W wheel 2 wheel racing) and improve my racecraft that way.
It's a sad fact of playing GT Sport. PD won't take real responsibility for how their drivers make it to live events. Ultimately, they are to blame for not making themselves easily available for reporting drivers.
Just my opinion.

Yeah the penalty system can suck, but I still prefer GT Sport. Even though last night I had a guy dive bomb me at a corner, knock me off the track into a wall. He got a four second penalty for doing so, but the game gave me a five-second penalty because I hit the barrier that he knocked me into LOL.
Pikkon I feel that if you knockout somebody of track intentionally, like divebombing...a 5 or 10 second stop-And-go penalty in the pits, could be better. It would make people who just makes mistakes ro be more careful, rammer just does’nt care anyways...

Small note, maggiore is pronounced in a way that the "re" at the end is like the "re" from "ready". You got "maggio" right though
They really need to look at their penalty system, it really can compromise your results sometimes.
Getting rammed into then being the RECIPIENT of a 5 sec penalty is the worst and even when the penalty does go to the guilty party? A 3-5 sec penalty is nothing compared to being rammed out of a top 5 spot on opening lap and having the entire field go by and now YOU are running dead last, The penalty system really need to be developed better

Had a quite hilarious moment once where a person was corner-cutting and putt-ing others in corners. I know I let my anger get over me (and kinda had a road rage moment). At the end of the 15th lap going into the 16th, he was coming up fast behind me on the big straight on the Fuji Speedway. I manage to block him on the inside where he almost uses me as his "break-cussion." I manage to stay infront of him to turn 10, where my "small message" comes into play. Like I said, I let my anger get to me so I brake checked him early, like way before you actually need to when coming into turn 10. Made him spin-out and gave me a 5 second penalty. Still managed to get 7th place. (Edit: For those wondering, he got 9th)

you say that i was a B driver in a mainly A lobby for the nurburgring 24hr grp 3 race. started 3rd by end of circuit section i was 19th. then had people doing spear attacks for entire race, next one id dropped down to C, incredibly clean driving i finished 3rd. the rating system seems a bit iffy.

@@EERIEISSSS hey can i ask a quick question, DR rating. i started 15th on grid, my door said 19 i finished 6th and my dr dropped substantially, i went back to do it again, 12th on grid, door says 16 finish 5th dr drops. no penalties other than a couple of orange sr's. its driving me loopy i get to mod B then cant seem to stop DR dropping. i was just wondering if youd encountered similar.
Fletchxbow666 around mid B i think you have to finish in the top 3 or 4 to gain any dr, even more, for me as a top A a usual daily race is like: 1st place = +100 2nd = +30 3rd = -30 4th = -100 5th = -300 6th = -500 7th = -700

We can’t be wrapped in ‘cotton wool’ you need a level of shit or bust, that’s racing, and you should face the consequences, but penalising the victim has to change.

Again, this is why I don't Play GT Sport anymore, not Daylies anyways. Just Love how you get a 4 Sec. Penalty for getting knocked of the track. GTS sucks.
I have a bruno on my side of the pond... I just don't understand why people want to drive dirty. I try to drive like I actually own the car I'm driving, but more times than not it costs me. I hope they can figure out the penalty system because I get a lot of penalties from dive bombers who cannot control their car after making ridiculous moves.. one can hope. Great video as always. Sorry I got a little whiny lol

Well done for keeping your cool, sure I'd sent some of these guys to the realm in that race, I dont agree with it but I feel if I let them get away with it then I'll always have them doing it.

GTS should almost just disable penalties when it’s off by this much.. or disable online races until they’ve figured a system that can work.

To be honest, it mostly looks like good, hard racing to me, aside from Bruno running you off the track, but perhaps he just didn't know you were there?

The penalty system on its current form is too easily manipulated and it’s rendered the sportsmanship rating useless. S rank just stands for how well you can play the system.

Honestly, I don’t see much issue here. The English guy fighting in front of you seems fine to me. He wasn’t expecting you to show up which is what I believed why he pushed you over. The guy run into you is because you left him no space into the left hander and the guy drop in grass and lost control. I won’t call that dirty racing. It’s just what happens when you racing.
Actually I also have mixed feelings here. Yes, Bruno and some others were quite agressive. But sometimes, the tiniest of gap is there for the taking. About the dive bombing english racer, twice at the same place. If you know he's going to try there, close and protect that gap and park on the apex. Then, again, I only play on Forza, I'm not sure how this can turn in GTS, but if you are super agressive with me, don't expect me to be any less agressive with you.
esseferio I never played GTS either. But I do iRacing, iLMS to be specific. This track is wide which make a lot chances for diving inside. You should be expecting the car behind you to make move. Looks like this track striking distance is about .4 seconds. So you should defense a bit if the driver behind is clearly aggressive

Those penalties are bullshit.
You shouldn't have been penalised anyway, but it turns out to be a lot more than 4 seconds if they slow you down on the straight.
They should just add the time at the end.
Oh man, that was rough. Bruno, what can I say. You had a run on him, he just turned into you, punted you wide and somehow you ended up with a penalty. I'm so glad I don't play this game cos if that had been me, the ps4 would've out the window with a whole bunch of expletives.

Except the obvious fact that You are way better than me, if You expect to get lunged up the inside and get pushed of the track for the third time in a row, why don't You cover off the inside line? It would cost less time than getting pushed on to the grass I guess

Same here I've lost interest dis gt sport since last week in gto race daily race as I lost DR B SR A all down to both E over dirty drive as blocking brake check raming in corner. Most annoying part whey they hit you or myself were the one get heavy penalty dirty one get away with have one video in evo x in nurburgring is was so bad that I have to pack it up play myself in wrc 7😠😠

The 4 second penalty is very strange, you did nothing wrong there. The game should improve that.
I have been watching several videos from you the past few days and was almost sold to the idea of buying the game and the gear to enjoy it but this race just felt like pure filth! I'd rather keep on real life driving even though it's a way rarer occurence and probably a bit more expensive.
If I could I would "play" the game by just being a judge if that existed. This is just infuriating driving! I have never seen something like that and the penalty was straight out appalling!

The last move, yeah, fair enough but the others, for example Shoobie, didn’t really do anything wrong... his first move on you was clean... rubbing is racing dude.
I'm not saying he wasnt dirty, but if some guy wants to make the hole, you could have just kept behind him and followed through, like you said he ended up 7th and you could have knicked it at the end , maybe, good drive though not to quit.
This is why I stopped racing online.

Unfortunately, i have had the same experiences with players who are not there to race fair at all........I love nfs shift, as it is definitely a very close racing sim, but of course we ALL MUST! play a fair game in order to make it a good race.......This is impossible, and i find that Russian players are by far the worst offenders, as if they cannot win, they refuse to allow a fair race.....Russians also seem to have a serious amount of cheat aids, which they cannot race without.
I'd have said "sons of....." well, that's irrelevant.
People rant and rave about the stat of the game I.e penalty system etc but to me the main issue is some of the people playing. I myself hate it when people turn into me like that. What is the point on showing respect to others and get non in return l.
To many dirty drivers in gt sport i was A S but keep getting rammed by japan drivers gt sport needs to sort out the S R D R rating and the 2/3 accounts they make to ram other drivers

To be honest, there were alot of guys not being jerks too. 😉 But I totally sympathise with your frustration.
And - don’t make the misstake of holding too much gruge against missdeeds from your opponents. You don’t know why they bump into you, if they are lagging, being cought out by sudden drop in grip level, a child grabbing their wheel screaming for candy or a cat steping on their controll stick. It can allso be good to look at the replay before you judge someone, they might have been pushed themselves etc.
But getting penalised for being rammed is super frustrating, I know. And so does everybody, I believe.
