CrossRC FC6 Hauling wood

Finished the CrossRC FC6 and the logtrailer. I used the T-003 trailer from CrossRC, rebuild the complete suspension for the bigger tires. ( 2,2" - 135x75)
The rear suspension of the FC6 also received longer leafs and connecting rods for the bigger tires. (2.2" - 125x60)
The front suspension of the FC6 got lifted 15 mm and the fenders bit trimmed, fuel tank and air tanks moved back for 15 mm.

Beautiful rig man probably the best looking fc6 I’ve seen. I am thinking of building something similar using my t-003 trailer.

Hello, easily the best looking FC6 out there! I'm planning to build one too, using similar sized tyres. Would really appreciate it if you could help me out.
So reading your description, it's understood that the rear suspension has to be custom built, what's the longest leaf spring's eye to eye length on your truck? I have some spare leaf springs lying around, but not sure if they'll be long enough to accommodate the extra tyre diameters.

hi, thanks a lot for the compliment. I am presently traveling, will be back home in about two weeks. Will then measure the new springs. I made them from spring steel, couldn't find ready made in rc shops. You will also need to replace the drive shafts.

Hi Jim, the new leafs are eye to eye 143 mm. I used a strip with 173 mm length coz the eyes require 15 mm each. I use the original spring as secondary with the eyes cut off. Good luck with ur build.

How did you extend the rear drive train to accommodate bigger tyres ?
I’ve just bought one and want to add bigger tyres too any tips would be greatly appreciated:)

I completely rebuild the suspension with custom made leaf springs and rods, also needed a longer drive shaft between the two axles. These tires are 128mm diameter
