When I first saw the announcement I was also very interested in buying. Obviously Cross-RC went for a top spec on this new model and with 8x8 drive, all-wheel steering and amphibious operation, it was never going to be cheap. Maybe if you are located in China it is not so bad but if you are trying to buy internationally, the shipping cost for such a large and heavy package means that the overall cost is very high. My only hope is that perhaps Cross-RC will bring out different variants in the future, possibly a 6-wheel or 4-wheel machine with a lower price.

Is the steering in the water done by the wheels ?
wheels do help yes but main steering is done by a rudder in the waterjet
