I honestly have never really looked at Fabian before. Have heard of him, just never really looked at him. He was quite dreamy.
'Stars' are made, not born. Nobody gets anywhere without the support and approval of the industry's moguls like diddyboy.
OH Fabian, FABIAN 🎇🎙️📻🎬🎞️🎹🎸📻🎙️🎇🎸📻🎞️🎬 JUST Hearing His Voice Takes U, Back To The 1950'S AND Seeing Him Memories PEACE...
He looked like a mix of Ricky Nelson and Elvis Presley, but lacked the talent of either.
Sorry folks …. He was a good looking kid , but Fabian is NOT a singer !!!! He just spoke the words of the songs … he didn’t SING them !!!!
He will never be in the same class as Elvis Presley !!!! Get real !
Fabian was NEVER a singer. He came at a time when Frankie Avalon and Paul Anka and Bobbie Rydell were hit singers and popular. Fabian, who was 16, was just a really good-looking young teen. He never had singing talent like the rest. He was lucky enough to propel his looks into an acting career. Fabian's manager was Bob Marcucci, who was also Frankie Avalon's manager. He was later manager to Lou Christie, Johnny Rivers and Rod Lauren. He was also co owner of "Chancellor" records.
IMO, YES, Fabian was a "manufactured" singer. His voice was "trained" just like Bing and Frank and many others of the time!!!
You are right! This was a great one! My mother worshiped Fabian over Elvis... l don't understand that! Yes.. Tiger was his biggest selling song, l like that song ❤ you can dance off it.. l do its my favorite of his records !
Interesting!
If those in charge of Fabian were going to fake his voice, wouldn't they use a better voice to do it?
I think they mean "faked' electronically.
Have two of his albums….not bad musically - if only he could sing.
Fabian's looks were what sold him. There was no "fake voice." The singing voice he had was terrible, but because he looked so good, folks didn't care. I never understood the appeal of him, preferring I was far more into Bobby Darin, Paul Anna, Frankie Avalon, and Bobby Rydell.
I could do without the repetitiveness.
Good looking guy, but not talented at singing....
